Description:
.mcaddon file and activate both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack on your world.Witchfield Village is a Bedrock addon that procedurally drops a hand-crafted, witch-themed village into plains and sunflower plains biomes as you explore the Overworld. The village generates automatically — no commands or crafting required. Each region of the plains can only receive one village, so every Witchfield settlement you find is a unique discovery rather than a repetitive spawn.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Witchfield Village structure | A large multi-part village made of crooked huts, winding paths, a cauldron plaza, mushroom gardens, lanterns, and witchy décor |
| Witch guards | Four witches spawn throughout the village and patrol its grounds |
| Village cats | Two cats roam the village, adding to its eerie atmosphere |
| Smoke effects | A smoke particle effect marks the village centre on arrival |
| Ambient sound | A witch ambient sound plays for all players within ~96 blocks when the village appears |
| Discovery message | A purple action-bar message notifies you the moment a village generates nearby |
Simply explore plains or sunflower plains biomes. The addon checks your position as you move and, when conditions are right, places a Witchfield Village in the terrain near you. You do not need to do anything special — just keep walking.
Signs that a village has spawned:
The village spans a wide area and rises two stories in places. Points of interest include:
Four witches are stationed around the village. They behave like standard Minecraft witches — throwing splash potions and being resistant to poison — but they guard specific positions throughout the settlement. Approach carefully, use fire resistance or healing potions, and pick them off one at a time if you want to explore safely.
One village per region — The addon divides the plains into grid cells. Once a cell has received a Witchfield Village, it is permanently remembered for that world session. No second village will appear in the same area, ensuring each one you find is a fresh location.
Proximity-based generation — Villages do not generate from a world seed at creation time. They appear dynamically as players move through plains biomes, so the village is always placed in terrain you are about to reach rather than far away.
Overworld only — The addon only triggers in the Overworld dimension. Entering plains in the Nether or End will never produce a village.
