Wand Of The Final Formation

Quickstart

Craft the wand using the recipe below, then hold it and right-click (use) to unleash a strike around yourself. Try it when hostile mobs are gathered nearby. The wand can affect up to eight hostiles within 8 blocks and has a 15-second cooldown.

Overview

The Wand Of The Final Formation is a single-use-at-a-time combat item for clearing nearby hostile mobs with a magical formation strike.

What It Adds

• One wand, which can be found in the Creative inventory’s Combat tab.
• A close-range attack that selects nearby hostile mobs rather than requiring you to aim at each one.

How To Use

1. Hold the wand in either hand.
2. Use it to cast. The strike is centered on you, so stay near the hostiles you want to hit.
3. Wait 15 seconds before using it again.

The cast produces enchantment particles and a spell sound. It only targets hostile mobs; players, pets, villagers, and other non-hostile entities are not selected.

The crafting recipe is unlocked for players when they join. Craft it at a crafting table:

Abilities And Mechanics

The strike reaches hostiles within 8 blocks of you and affects up to eight targets per cast. It deals powerful magic damage; the number of targets is limited even if more hostiles are in range.

Progression And Strategy

Save the wand for groups of nearby hostiles. Since the attack centers on you and has a 15-second cooldown, get into range before casting and be ready to handle any enemies left over.
