Voidgravity Blade

Quickstart

1. Both items appear in the Combat creative tab, or craft them yourself (recipes below).
2. Craft the Voidgravity Blade first — it is also a crafting ingredient for the cannon.
3. Hold the Blade, left-click an enemy to pull it toward you and trap it in a gravity well. Right-click anywhere to hurl a black hole up to 32 blocks ahead.
4. Once you have the Blade, craft the Black Hole Orbital Strike Cannon and right-click to begin a 10-second targeting charge, then watch the orbital laser and black hole sequence unfold.

Overview

Voidgravity Blade adds two end-game weapons built around gravity manipulation and spectacular black-hole theatrics. The Voidgravity Blade is a dark-matter sword that surpasses Netherite in power, while the Black Hole Orbital Strike Cannon escalates combat into a cinematic multi-phase orbital bombardment. Both items are packed with staged visual effects, unique particle systems, and custom sounds that evolve as each ability progresses.

Abilities And Mechanics

Voidgravity Blade

Left-click (melee attack) Strikes an enemy and instantly yanks them toward you. The hit target is briefly levitated and slowed, suspended in a compact personal gravity well before they can react.

Right-click (black hole summon) Projects a black hole to whatever you are looking at, up to 32 blocks away. Once summoned, the black hole:

• Continuously pulls all living entities within 8 blocks toward its center.
• Applies Levitation and Slowness to anything caught in its field.
• Advances through 30 named stages, each with distinct silhouettes, particle effects, motion cadence, and sound design. Stage names are announced to you as they progress.
• Lasts for a total of 90 seconds before dissipating.
• Carries a 5-second cooldown between casts.

Black Hole Orbital Strike Cannon

Right-click (activate) Begins a 10-second targeting charge accompanied by visible targeting effects that lock onto the point at your crosshair.

Orbital Laser Phase (30 seconds) After the charge completes, an orbital laser fires and cycles through 30 beam stages. Each stage has unique visual signatures and distinct sounds. The laser repeatedly deals magic damage to the targeted point throughout this phase.

Orbital Black Hole Phase When the laser phase ends, a large orbital black hole aperture spawns 12 blocks offset from the original aim point and begins a dramatic 90-stage pull sequence featuring:

• Stage-specific gates and particle effects.
• Wave-motion dynamics that shift between stages.
• Occasional explosion accents at certain stages.

The cannon has a long cooldown of approximately 100 seconds before it can be activated again.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with the Blade. Its melee gravity pull gives you immediate crowd control and lets you chain attacks by dragging enemies into melee range.
• Use right-click black holes to cluster mobs. Drop one in a group to pull everything into a tight ball, then follow up with melee strikes.
• Save the Cannon for tough encounters. The 10-second charge telegraphs your intent, so activate it before a boss fight or large mob wave rather than in a reactive situation. Position carefully — the orbital black hole spawns offset from your aim point, so account for that when choosing a target location.
• Mind the cooldowns. The Blade's black hole recharges in 5 seconds, making it reliable for repeated use. The Cannon's ~100-second cooldown means you get one big play per major engagement — make it count.
• Craft order matters. You need the Voidgravity Blade in hand before you can build the Cannon, so prioritize gathering End Stone, Obsidian, and a Nether Star first.
