Voidgravity Blade

Quickstart

1. Craft the Voidgravity Blade using the recipe below and equip it in your hand.
2. Find a group of enemies and left-click to attack — they'll be yanked toward you, lifted into the air, and slowed.
3. Right-click while looking at a spot up to 32 blocks away to summon a black hole at your crosshair. Watch it drag everything nearby into its swirling center.
4. Wait 5 seconds after using the black hole ability before summoning another.

Overview

The Voidgravity Blade is a dark-matter sword that surpasses Netherite in power. It gives you two distinct ways to control the battlefield: a melee gravity pull on every hit, and a deployable black hole that dominates an area for 10 full seconds. It sits in the Combat creative tab and counts as a sword for all game purposes.

How To Use

Left-Click — Melee Gravity Pull

Strike any living enemy with a normal melee swing. On hit, the target is instantly yanked toward you, then afflicted with:

• Levitation — lifting them off the ground briefly.
• Slowness — reducing their ability to escape.

This works on every melee hit with no cooldown, making it excellent for keeping enemies off-balance in close combat.

Right-Click — Black Hole Summon

Aim your crosshair at any point up to 32 blocks away and right-click to project a black hole at that location. The black hole:

• Lasts 10 seconds.
• Pulls all living entities within 8 blocks continuously toward its center.
• Applies Levitation and Slowness to everything it catches.
• Displays a dramatic visual effect: a compact event horizon, spiral accretion arms, rotating purple particles, an outer lensing ring, and vertical aura jets.
• Plays a unique black hole ambient sound for its duration.

After using this ability, there is a 5-second cooldown before you can summon another black hole.

Progression And Strategy

• Obtain early access by gathering End Stone (from The End), Obsidian, and a Nether Star (Wither kill). This is intentionally a post-Wither weapon.
• Use the black hole offensively by placing it in a chokepoint, doorway, or mob spawner room — it will cluster enemies tightly together, making AoE attacks or follow-up swings devastating.
• Combine both abilities: right-click to summon the black hole, then wade in with left-click melee swings while enemies are already levitated and slowed. Enemies caught in the gravity well are nearly helpless.
• Mind the cooldown: the 5-second black hole cooldown is short, but plan your summon placement carefully since 10 seconds of active pulling is a finite window.
• The melee yank has no cooldown, so in one-on-one fights you can continuously drag a target back to you whenever they try to retreat.
