Void Touch

Quickstart

1. Open the Creative inventory and search for Void Touch, or craft it at a crafting table.
2. Equip it in your main hand.
3. Hit any entity with it. The struck entity is erased immediately, regardless of its health.

Use normal attack controls to swing Void Touch. It affects entities, not blocks.

Overview

Void Touch is a powerful sword that removes an entity with a single successful hit. It is useful for instantly clearing hostile mobs, defeating bosses, or experimenting with entity encounters.

What It Adds

• Void Touch — a non-stackable sword with extremely high attack damage.
• A special attack effect that instantly removes the entity you strike.
• Sword enchantment support.
• Nether Star repairs.
• Furnace fuel functionality.

How To Use

Hold Void Touch in your main hand and attack an entity normally. When the attack connects:

• The hit entity is removed immediately.
• The effect does not depend on the target's health.
• A nearby entity is not affected unless it is the entity selected by the successful hit.
• Void Touch does not erase blocks or terrain.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft Void Touch at a crafting table using the recipe below. The recipe uses a Nether Star, an Eye of Ender, and a Stick.

Void Touch is also available in the Creative inventory under the equipment category.

Abilities And Mechanics

Instant Erasure

Void Touch's defining ability activates when you hit an entity. One successful strike is enough to remove it, making armor, health, and toughness irrelevant.

Durability

Void Touch has 36 durability. Its durability can be reduced when it is used, so keep a replacement or Nether Stars available for repairs.

Repairing

Repair Void Touch with Nether Stars. Each repair can restore up to 36 durability.

Enchanting

Void Touch can accept sword enchantments through normal enchanting methods. Enchantments may improve its general sword utility, but the instant-erasure effect remains its primary ability.

Fuel

Void Touch can be used as furnace fuel.

Progression And Strategy

• Obtain a Nether Star before crafting, since it is both a crafting ingredient and the repair material.
• Use Void Touch for dangerous mobs and high-health targets that would normally require extended combat.
• Carry Nether Stars when using it frequently, especially during large-scale mob clearing.
• Remember that the sword only activates against entities you successfully hit; it is not a block-breaking tool.
