Description
Adds a verdant, masked feline companion — a tall, player-scale green-and-magenta cat-like ally that you can summon to fight by your side. You can bring it into the world with a dedicated spawn egg or use the built-in commands (/verdantphantom summon and /verdantphantom status) to spawn it and check mod status. In combat the companion bites to apply poison to enemies and briefly regenerates health on hits, making it a useful offensive-support pet for tackling dangerous encounters.

Overview
Verdant Phantom adds Meowscarada, a tall, green-and-magenta masked feline companion mob that fights alongside you. Standing at roughly player height, it serves as an offensive-support ally capable of poisoning foes and sustaining itself in prolonged fights.

How To Use
Spawning via Spawn Egg Find the Meowscarada Spawn Egg in the Creative inventory. Right-click any surface to place Meowscarada into the world.
Spawning via Command
Run /verdantphantom summon while in-game. Meowscarada will appear exactly where you are standing. This is especially useful for quickly bringing your companion back if it gets lost.
Checking Mod Status
Run /verdantphantom status to confirm the mod is active and get a brief description of what it provides.
Abilities And Mechanics
Meowscarada is built for aggressive, close-range combat and brings two powerful on-hit effects:

The regeneration-on-hit mechanic means Meowscarada becomes harder to kill the more actively it is fighting — keep it engaged to make the most of its self-sustain.
Progression And Strategy
- Early encounters: Deploy Meowscarada against tough mobs or dungeon bosses. Its poison stacks damage over time, letting you focus on dodging while it applies pressure.
- Sustain: Because Meowscarada heals on each hit, fights against groups of enemies are actually easier for it than single large targets — it regenerates more frequently when hitting multiple foes in sequence.
- Repositioning: If Meowscarada wanders off or falls behind, use
/verdantphantom summonto teleport a fresh one to your side instantly. - Durability: With 30 HP and on-hit regen, Meowscarada can survive extended fights, but keep an eye on its health bar during boss encounters where it may not land hits frequently enough to keep up with incoming damage.
