Universal Smithing

Quickstart

1. Place and open a smithing table.
2. Put a valid smithing template, equipment, and the required material into the menu slots.
3. Check the result preview, then take the finished item.

Try an armor trim with a trim template, armor, and a trim material, or use the table’s normal equipment-upgrade recipe.

Overview

Universal Smithing uses Minecraft’s normal smithing table menu. Its built-in equipment upgrades and armor-trim recipes work as usual.

What It Adds

The mod provides no separate items, blocks, or smithing interface to learn. Use the smithing table and materials available through normal Minecraft gameplay.

How To Use

Use the smithing table’s displayed recipe slots. The required inputs depend on the recipe; the result preview shows what the current inputs will produce. If no result appears, check that the equipment, template, and material match a valid recipe.

Abilities And Mechanics

Armor trims are decorative: use a trim template, armor, and a trim material to apply one. For equipment upgrades, use the appropriate upgrade template, item, and material shown by the table’s recipe.

Progression And Strategy

Collect the templates and materials needed for the smithing recipes you want to use. Keep a spare copy of a template if you plan to use it again.
