Description:
.mcaddon file — both the behavior pack and resource pack apply automatically to your world. That's all there is to it. Just play and collect.
Two Minute Treasure is a passive reward mod that runs silently in the background of any play session. Every two minutes, each player in the world receives a random vanilla item — food, resources, valuables, or rare finds — chosen from a broad curated pool. Quantities vary each time, and the system ensures you never receive the same item twice in a row, keeping every delivery a genuine surprise.
Two Minute Treasure does not add new blocks, items, or entities to the game. Instead, it adds a reward system layered on top of normal gameplay:
Rewards are drawn from an expanded pool of vanilla Minecraft items. Every reward has a randomized quantity within a set range. Notable entries include:
| Category | Example Items |
|---|---|
| Food | Apple (2–5), Baked Potato (2–6), Bread (1–4), Beef (2–5), Carrot (2–7), Melon Slice (3–8) |
| Resources | Oak Log (4–12), Coal (4–12), Iron Ingot (2–7), Copper Ingot (3–10), Leather (2–8), Feather (3–10) |
| Valuables | Gold Ingot (1–5), Diamond (1–3), Emerald (1–5), Lapis Lazuli (4–16) |
| Combat | Arrow (8–24), Ender Pearl (1–3), Egg (4–12) |
| Special | Golden Apple (1), Cake (1), Bottle o' Enchanting (3–9) |
Items with no quantity range listed are always delivered as a single unit. The pool is intentionally broad so that long play sessions stay varied and rewarding.
The action bar displays a live mm:ss countdown unique to each player. When you first join a world with the pack active, the timer starts fresh and announces that your first reward will arrive in 2:00.
The mod tracks the last item you received. When it picks the next reward, it rerolls if the same item comes up, guaranteeing variety between consecutive deliveries.
If every inventory slot is occupied when a reward is due, the item stack spawns as a ground item directly at your feet, so you can pick it up when ready. Partial inventory space is filled first, and only any leftover amount drops to the ground.
Every player on the server has their own independent timer and reward history. Rewards are delivered individually — one player receiving an item has no effect on another player's countdown.
Because rewards arrive on a fixed real-time schedule regardless of what you're doing, the mod naturally rewards longer play sessions. A few approaches to make the most of it:
