    Description:

Every two minutes each player receives a random vanilla item from an expanded, curated reward pool — quantities are randomized and the system avoids giving the same item twice in a row. A per-player action-bar countdown shows time until the next delivery, and when it arrives you get a message (now including the quantity) and a level-up sound; rewards go straight into your inventory and are safely dropped at your feet if you’re full. No setup or commands are required—just install and play as usual to enjoy varied, treasure-style drops while you explore.

    Mod Wiki

    Two Minute Treasure

    Quickstart

    1. Install the .mcaddon file — both the behavior pack and resource pack apply automatically to your world.
    2. Load any world with the packs active and start playing normally. No commands, no crafting, no setup needed.
    3. Watch the action bar at the bottom of your screen — it shows a live countdown to your next reward.
    4. After two minutes, you'll hear a level-up chime, see a chat message telling you exactly what and how much you received, and the item will appear directly in your inventory (or drop at your feet if your inventory is full).

That's all there is to it. Just play and collect.

    Overview

Two Minute Treasure is a passive reward mod that runs silently in the background of any play session. Every two minutes, each player in the world receives a random vanilla item — food, resources, valuables, or rare finds — chosen from a broad curated pool. Quantities vary each time, and the system ensures you never receive the same item twice in a row, keeping every delivery a genuine surprise.

    What It Adds

Two Minute Treasure does not add new blocks, items, or entities to the game. Instead, it adds a reward system layered on top of normal gameplay:

    • A per-player countdown timer displayed on the action bar at all times.
    • A random item delivery every two minutes, straight into your inventory.
    • An audio cue (level-up sound) and a chat notification showing the item name and quantity received.
    • Automatic floor-drop overflow — if your inventory is full, the reward item drops safely at your feet instead of being lost.

    Reward Pool

Rewards are drawn from an expanded pool of vanilla Minecraft items. Every reward has a randomized quantity within a set range. Notable entries include:

    CategoryExample Items
    FoodApple (2–5), Baked Potato (2–6), Bread (1–4), Beef (2–5), Carrot (2–7), Melon Slice (3–8)
ResourcesOak Log (4–12), Coal (4–12), Iron Ingot (2–7), Copper Ingot (3–10), Leather (2–8), Feather (3–10)
ValuablesGold Ingot (1–5), Diamond (1–3), Emerald (1–5), Lapis Lazuli (4–16)
    CombatArrow (8–24), Ender Pearl (1–3), Egg (4–12)
    SpecialGolden Apple (1), Cake (1), Bottle o' Enchanting (3–9)

Items with no quantity range listed are always delivered as a single unit. The pool is intentionally broad so that long play sessions stay varied and rewarding.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Countdown Timer

The action bar displays a live mm:ss countdown unique to each player. When you first join a world with the pack active, the timer starts fresh and announces that your first reward will arrive in 2:00.

    Anti-Repeat Logic

The mod tracks the last item you received. When it picks the next reward, it rerolls if the same item comes up, guaranteeing variety between consecutive deliveries.

    Full-Inventory Safety

If every inventory slot is occupied when a reward is due, the item stack spawns as a ground item directly at your feet, so you can pick it up when ready. Partial inventory space is filled first, and only any leftover amount drops to the ground.

    Multiplayer

Every player on the server has their own independent timer and reward history. Rewards are delivered individually — one player receiving an item has no effect on another player's countdown.

    Progression And Strategy

Because rewards arrive on a fixed real-time schedule regardless of what you're doing, the mod naturally rewards longer play sessions. A few approaches to make the most of it:

    • Keep your inventory tidy. Full inventories cause drops at your feet, which can be lost if you're moving fast or in a dangerous area. Chest storage runs between big timers pay off.
    • Use Bottles o' Enchanting wisely. When a batch of 3–9 arrives, use them together for a quick XP burst before enchanting.
    • Lean into early-game efficiency. Early rewards of iron, coal, or diamonds can dramatically accelerate your first few hours — treat them as a bonus rather than a crutch to keep the game fun.
    • Multiplayer sessions compound quickly. Each player earns their own rewards independently, so grouped play lets everyone contribute materials from their own deliveries to shared projects.
