Triple Blast Blade

Quickstart

1. Craft Blast Cores from gunpowder, redstone, and a diamond. Each craft produces two cores.

1. Craft the Triple Blast Blade using iron, a Blast Core, and a stick.

1. Keep at least one Blast Core anywhere in your inventory and hold the blade.
2. Use the blade—right-click by default—to trigger three explosions:
   • One centered near you
   • One in the direction you are looking
   • One directly behind you
3. Move away before firing. The blade consumes one Blast Core per use and has a 1.5-second cooldown.
4. For a placeable explosive, craft Triple TNT, place it like TNT, and ignite it using a normal TNT ignition method.

Overview

Triple Blast Blade adds a consumable-ammunition weapon and a TNT-style explosive block. The blade creates three TNT-type explosions at once, while Triple TNT can be placed and detonated like ordinary TNT.

How To Use

Triple Blast Blade

Hold the blade and use it to fire. The blade searches your entire inventory for a Blast Core, so the core does not need to be in your hotbar.

Each shot:

• Consumes one Blast Core.
• Creates three explosions.
• Uses a larger central explosion with an approximate radius of 3.5 blocks.
• Creates two additional explosions with approximate radii of 2.5 blocks.
• Has a 30-tick cooldown, equal to 1.5 seconds.

The two secondary explosions are positioned along your looking direction: one ahead of you and one behind you. Aim carefully and leave plenty of space around yourself, since the central explosion occurs near the player.

If you have no Blast Core, the blade displays:

The blade needs a Blast Core to fire.

Using the blade during its cooldown has no effect.

Triple TNT

Place Triple TNT on the ground as a block. It behaves as a TNT-style explosive and can be ignited through the usual TNT methods, such as flint and steel, redstone, or another explosion.

Blast Core

Crafting a Blast Core requires four gunpowder, four redstone, and one diamond. The recipe produces two cores.

Triple Blast Blade

The blade requires two iron ingots, one Blast Core, and one stick. It does not stack.

Triple TNT

Triple TNT requires four gunpowder, two sand, and one TNT. The recipe produces three blocks.

Studio Asset

Craft a Studio Asset from eight paper and one Blast Core.

Three

Three is a shapeless recipe using one gunpowder, one paper, and one flint. It produces three Three items.

X

X is a shapeless recipe using one redstone, one iron nugget, and one stick.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Blast Cores function as the blade's ammunition.
• The blade fires only when a Blast Core is present in the player's inventory.
• A single activation produces three separate explosions rather than one.
• The central blast is the largest of the three.
• The blade's explosions use TNT-style explosion behavior, so use caution near structures, storage, and other players.
• Triple TNT is a placeable block and can be recovered if it survives an explosion.

Progression And Strategy

Start by making several Blast Cores, then craft the blade once you have a safe testing area. Fire from a distance or in an open field, because one explosion is centered close to you and the other two extend along your view direction.

Keep extra Blast Cores in your inventory for uninterrupted use, and wait for the cooldown between shots. Use Triple TNT when you want a placed explosive that can be prepared and ignited separately from the blade.
