Quickstart

Craft a Wooden Trident at a crafting table using planks and a stick:

Put it on your hotbar and use it like a trident: hold the Use button to ready it, then release to throw. Try it on a target, and use it for melee attacks when enemies get close. You can also find all six types in the Trident Arsenal Creative Mode tab.

Overview

Trident Arsenal offers six craftable tridents made from different materials. They share trident-style melee and throwing use, but vary in attack damage and durability.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the wooden, stone, copper, golden, and diamond tridents at a crafting table. Each uses three matching material items arranged in a trident-head shape, plus a stick for the handle.

Upgrade a Diamond Trident to Netherite at a smithing table with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and a Netherite Ingot:

How To Use

Hold a trident in your hand. Use the attack button for melee, or hold Use and release to throw it. The thrown trident is also visibly styled to match its material.

Progression And Strategy

Choose a trident for the balance you want: Wooden and Golden deal 5 damage, but Golden has especially low durability. Copper offers more damage and durability than Stone, while Diamond and Netherite have the highest damage and durability. Netherite is made by upgrading a Diamond Trident rather than crafting one directly.
