Overview

The Trickster Panic Card is an epic-rarity utility item that gives you three very different powers depending on what you point it at. It functions as both a crowd-control tool and a griefing instrument, letting you capture mobs, unleash chaos, or instantly delete enemies — all from a single card.

What It Adds

  • Trickster Panic Card — a single, enchantable hand-held card (max stack: 1) with 250 durability. Found in the Equipment tab of the inventory. Has an enchantment glint and epic rarity.

How To Use

Right-Click a Mob — Mob Menu

A menu titled Trickster Panic Card appears with three choices:

OptionEffect
Add to InventoryCaptures the mob, removes it from the world, and gives you its spawn egg.
Make It Go Crazy!Replaces the mob with a dancing zombie afflicted with Levitation, Speed III, and Nausea — chaotic and unpredictable.
Kill InstantlyImmediately eliminates the mob with a satisfying sound effect.

Right-Click a Player — Zombie Horde Vision

Targets another player with a horrifying illusion: zombies appear to surround them at close range (roughly 4 blocks in all directions). The victim receives the message "YOU SEE THEM EVERYWHERE... Zombies closing in!" The phantom zombies are removed automatically after 3 seconds.

Right-Click the Air — Murder Zone

Spawns a deadly area directly in front of you. Any mob that enters the zone is killed instantly. Use this to guard a chokepoint, protect a base entrance, or ambush a crowd of mobs.

Crafting And Obtaining

The card is crafted at a crafting table. It can also be repaired using Paper (restores 62 durability per piece) at an anvil.

Abilities And Mechanics

  • Capture works on most mobs that have a corresponding spawn egg. If no spawn egg exists for that mob type, you'll receive a notice and the mob is still removed.
  • Dancing Zombie inherits the location of the original mob. The resulting zombie has Speed III, Levitation I, and Nausea II for 10 seconds, making it erratic and hard to predict.
  • Horde Vision affects other players only — great for multiplayer pranks or ambushes.
  • Murder Zone persists in the world independently of the card and will eliminate any mob that steps into it.
  • The card is enchantable (sword slot) and repairable with paper.
  • Each use costs 1 durability point (100% damage chance per use), so the card lasts exactly 250 uses.

Progression And Strategy

  • Craft the card as soon as you have gold ingots, an ender eye, paper, and a stick — the ender eye is the main gate, so plan a trip to a stronghold or kill Endermen first.
  • Use Add to Inventory to quickly collect rare or hard-to-find mob spawn eggs without building traps.
  • Deploy Murder Zone ahead of mob spawner farms or dungeon entrances to automate kills without needing elaborate redstone.
  • In multiplayer, Horde Vision is most effective in dark or enclosed spaces where the sudden appearance of zombies triggers maximum panic.
  • Keep Paper in your inventory to repair the card at an anvil before it breaks. Each paper restores 62 durability, so four pieces nearly fully restore a depleted card.
