Description
The Ascendant Genie Lamp is a powerful magical item that lets you make wishes — from showering yourself in riches to commanding the weather, summoning creatures, or unleashing chaos on your enemies. Every wish you cast feeds a persistent Ascension XP system that gradually unlocks stronger magic, and the lamp tracks its own personality through mood, trust, charges, and consequence mode.

Right-click the Ascendant Genie Lamp to open the full Genie Lamp screen. The panel has four top tabs:
A Mode toggle button sits in the top-right of the tab bar. Cycling it changes the lamp's consequence mode:

Select a category on the left panel, then choose a specific wish from the list. The right panel shows a live simulation preview of what will happen. Click the wish button to cast it (consumes one charge).
Wish categories include:
Type anything into the wish text field. The lamp uses a deterministic word-seed system — every phrase maps to a unique metaphorical effect. If it recognises a known phrase, it executes that directly. If not, it guesses the closest built-in wish, item, mob, or power.
Useful preset phrases:

Craft the Ascendant Genie Lamp at a crafting table:
Prismatic Wish Crystals cannot be crafted — they are found as rare loot in chests and from drops. Right-click a Crystal while carrying a lamp in your inventory to instantly restore one wish charge (only works when the genieLampUsesRecharges gamerule is enabled).
The lamp has a limited number of wish charges. Each cast consumes one charge. Charges slowly regenerate over time if the server gamerule genieLampUsesRecharges is set to true. With recharges disabled, the lamp becomes inert once its charges are spent and you must craft a new one.
Prismatic Wish Crystals bypass the recharge timer and immediately restore one charge.
Hovering over the lamp or opening the GUI reveals detailed status:
Every wish you cast earns Ascension XP. Hybrid wishes and special cosmic or secret wishes earn bonus XP. As XP accumulates, the lamp ascends through ranks:

Higher Ascension ranks slightly empower catalog and hybrid wishes. When the lamp ascends, the genie announces the new rank.
The genie's mood shifts based on how you use the lamp — burning through charges quickly may make it Tired or Overcharged, while consistent use raises Trust and moves toward Happy or Mischievous. Higher trust tiers may influence outcomes.
The Hybrids tab lets you blend two wish categories (e.g. Wealth + Power) into a single combined wish. Hybrid wishes grant bonus Ascension XP and can produce effects neither category would achieve alone.
The Upgrades tab lets you improve the lamp across four tracks:

Each lamp has a randomised personality including a voice style (Grand, Snarky, Whimsical, Ancient, Sleepy), glow colour, and smoke colour. These are cosmetic and reflected in the genie's dialogue shown in the GUI.
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
