Overview
The Sword of Lords is a single legendary weapon that turns any fight into a one-sided execution. It never breaks, hits far harder than its listed damage suggests, and buries anything it strikes under a stack of deadly curses. There's nothing to build, tame, or explore here — just craft the blade and swing it.
What It Adds
The Sword of Lords — a unique, unbreakable netherite-tier sword with a glowing enchanted appearance.
A scripted "Lord Blade" enchantment effect baked into the weapon that triggers automatically on every hit.
A lingering curse effect ("wither sickness") that continues punishing struck enemies long after the initial blow.
Crafting And Obtaining
The sword is crafted at a crafting table:
There is no other way to obtain the Sword of Lords — it must be crafted from the ingredients above. Once made, it does not take durability damage no matter how much you use it.
Abilities And Mechanics
Holding and using the Sword of Lords is straightforward — just attack with it. What happens on hit is what makes it special:
Massive bonus damage: Every successful hit deals extra scripted damage on top of its base weapon damage, effectively hitting far harder than a normal sword.
Airborne critical bonus: If you're jumping or falling when you land a hit, you deal additional critical damage, and the game will notify you with an on-screen message.
Grounded strike message: If you're standing on the ground when you hit, the game instead announces the sword's enchantment-style effects (Sharpness, Penetration, Fire, Poison) in the action bar.
Burning strike: Every hit sets the target on fire for several seconds.
Poison: Inflicts a strong, long-lasting poison effect.
Wither: Applies a brief but powerful wither effect.
Weakness: Applies a long-lasting weakness effect, sapping the target's melee damage for many minutes.
Wither Sickness (curse): Struck targets are marked with a lingering curse that reapplies periodic wither and weakness pulses to them for an extremely long time (tens of in-game days) — even if you never hit them again.
Using the sword (without hitting anything) shows a summary of its stats and enchant-like effects in the action bar, so you can always check what it does.
Progression And Strategy
Since there's only one weapon and one recipe, the "progression" here is simply reaching the point where you can gather a nether star and netherite sword — both notably rare, high-tier ingredients. Once crafted, the Sword of Lords is an end-game weapon suited for taking down tough enemies or bosses in a single decisive engagement, thanks to its combination of heavy direct damage, guaranteed status effects, and its long-term curse. Because it's unbreakable, it's meant to be your permanent go-to weapon once obtained — there's no need to craft backups or manage durability.
