Description:
The Butcher’s Cleaver is a cursed, oversized melee weapon that grows stronger as you kill hostile mobs: it gains up to 20 Blood Charges (each +0.5 damage, decays after 2 minutes of no kills) and grants Strength I at 10 charges and Strength II at 20, plus extra meat from animals and a hidden Bloodlust curse that gives burst damage/speed with a hunger/Wither drawback after rapid kills. Use it like a weapon—left‑click to swing, right‑click to perform the wide 5‑block Meat Reaper attack (costs 4 charges, 10s cooldown), and hold Sneak (Shift) to run Reaper’s Revenge (uses 10 charges; bleeds nearby mobs for 2 damage/sec while you hold it for up to 10s, heals ½ heart/sec or grants extra hearts if full, then triggers a 3‑minute cooldown when you stop). The cleaver also emits whispers, shows red “blood” particles on hits and during Revenge, forces a red “blood moon” night while at 20 charges, and displays a one‑time in‑game help sheet the first time it’s in your inventory explaining all abilities and controls.

Integrates seamlessly with vanilla crafting materials and combat systems. Optional custom sound and visual effects for immersion. Behavior / Functionality: Base Weapon Stats: Attack Damage: +10 (higher than Netherite Sword) Attack Speed: 0.8 Durability: 250 Rarity: Epic / Cursed Blood Harvest (Passive): Each kill of a hostile mob adds 1 blood charge (max 20). Each charge increases damage by +0.5. Blood charges decay if no kills are made for 2 minutes. Blade texture becomes more blood-stained with each charge. Swing effects: red particle streaks and blood splash particles on kill. Screen darkens slightly with heartbeat sound during Bloodlust. Tooltip: “Forged in slaughter, fueled by hunger. Feed it — or be fed to it.” Edit v2: Increase the durability to 2500. Make the player gain permanent strength 1 potion effect when the player reaches 10 blood charges and permanent strength 2 potion effect when they have 20 blood charges. If the blood charges amount goes below each of these milestones, then the given effect is lost and replaced by either no effect (less than 10 blood charges) or strength 1 potion effect(less than 20 but equal to or more than 10 blood charges). I would also like a new ability to be added called the reapers revenge. It uses 10 blood charges to activate. It is used by holding shift. For the duration that the player holds shift (10 seconds max), every mob within a 20 block radius 'bleeds' depleting their health by 2 every second. For every second that this happens, the player regenerates half a heart if they are not full health, or gains half a heart on top of the original 10 hearts for every second the player uses the ability. The extra hearts last for 2 minutes until they are lost. This ability has a 3 minute cooldown from when the player stops shifting to activate it. Edit v3: Make the player hold the cleaver by the handle of the item and make the red on the cleaver more vibrant. Also make it so whenever it is in your inventory there is a whispering, creepy sound playing in the background no matter what is happening. When there are 20 blood charges, the time should be set to night and the moon should turn blood red. The players screen should turn slightly red with bright red flickering at the edges of the players screen. It should look very creepy. Make any mob the player hits emit red 'blood' particles briefly. Also when using reapers revenge ability the enemies within the range should emit these red 'blood' particles until the ability stops. Edit v4: The texture of the butchers cleaver doesnt work, as it is just invisible. The crafting recipe also doesnt work, it should be made like this: [iron_ingot][bone][iron_ingot] [iron_ingot][redstone_dust][iron_ingot] [leather][stick][leather] There are also no red particles coming off enemies that are hit or attacked by the reapers revenge ability. Edit v5: Add a description to the cleaver that says each of its abilities, how to activate them, what they do and the other passive boosts the amount of blood charges gives (like that at 20 the user gets strength 2)
