Mod Wiki

Tera Force Dragonknight

Quickstart

  • In Creative, find the Tera Force Dragonknight Spawn Egg and use it to spawn one. You can also summon it with /summon com_tera_force_dragonknight_4pvwnq5u:mycustom.
  • To tame it, hold a golden apple or golden carrot and interact with the Dragonknight. Each attempt has a 25% chance to tame it, so keep trying if needed.
  • Once tamed, it follows you. To see its attacks, approach an untamed Dragonknight cautiously: it retaliates if you hit it.

Overview

The Tera Force Dragonknight is a towering, heavily armored mob with 2,078 health. Untamed, it wanders and watches nearby players. If a player damages it, it fights back; once tamed, it follows its owner.

What It Adds

  • A large Dragonknight with a dedicated spawn egg.
  • A tameable companion that follows its owner.
  • Two attacks used when it retaliates against a player: a close-range strike and the ranged Tera Force blast.

How To Use

Feed an untamed Dragonknight a golden apple or golden carrot by interacting with it while holding the food. Keep feeding until it is tamed.

Tamed Dragonknights follow their owner when they get more than about 8 blocks away, then stop around 3 blocks away. They do not teleport to catch up, so keep within 32 blocks if you want it to stay nearby.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no crafting recipe for the Dragonknight. You can obtain it with its spawn egg or find it spawning naturally on mountain surfaces in bright conditions. It appears alone.

Abilities And Mechanics

AttackRange and effect
Close-range strikeAt close range, deals 17 damage and knocks the target back.
Tera ForceA clear shot at a target within 30 blocks can deal 42 damage, knock it back, and inflict Weakness for 4 seconds.

The Dragonknight retaliates when a player hurts it and can pursue that player for about 30 seconds. Its attacks require line of sight. On Normal and Hard difficulty, it also displays a boss health bar.

Progression And Strategy

Taming is a safer way to keep the Dragonknight nearby, but its huge health makes an untamed encounter a serious fight. If you choose to provoke it, keep distance and use cover to block its ranged attack. A player-killed Dragonknight drops gold ingots and blaze powder, with a chance for diamonds or netherite scrap.
