Tempest Imploder

Quickstart

1. Craft the Tempest Imploder using the recipe below and add it to your hotbar.
2. Left-click to swing it like a sword — nearby mobs will be hit for 50 damage surrounded by swirling cloud and snowflake particles with wind sound effects.
3. Hold right-click to begin charging — a tornado grows around you and a boss-bar style HUD tracks your charge percentage.
4. Release before 100% to trigger an implosion that pulls and damages mobs within 6 blocks (up to 30 damage, scaling with charge).
5. Hold until 100% — when the HUD shows the release prompt, let go to transform into a massive tornado for a full minute.

The Tempest Imploder is a netherite-tier sword built around two distinct playstyles: brutal direct combat and a powerful charge-based implosion or tornado transformation. Its flashy visual effects — swirling cloud and snowflake particles paired with dramatic wind sounds — make every hit and charge sequence feel cinematic. It suits aggressive players who want to control the battlefield by pulling enemies in, blasting them away, or simply obliterating them with raw melee damage.

How To Use

Left-Click: Direct Strike

Swing the Tempest Imploder like any sword with a left-click. Each hit deals 50 damage and produces swirling cloud and snowflake particles along with wind sound effects at the point of impact.

Right-Click Hold: Charge & Implosion

Hold right-click to begin charging. While charging:

• A mini-tornado of cloud and snowflake particles grows visibly around you, expanding as the charge builds.
• A tempest charge bar (styled like a boss bar) appears on your HUD, showing charge progress from 0% to 100%.
• Wind sounds play periodically throughout the charge.

Releasing before 100% triggers an implosion:

• All mobs within 6 blocks are pulled toward you.
• Damage scales with charge level, up to 30 damage at near-full charge.
• A 3-second cooldown applies after release.

Full Charge: Tornado Transformation

When the charge bar hits 100%, the HUD displays a release prompt. Letting go at full charge transforms you into a massive tornado for one minute:

• Large particles and wind sounds surround you continuously.
• Nearby enemies are knocked back and damaged as you move through them.
• The effect lasts the full 60 seconds before wearing off.

Craft the Tempest Imploder at a crafting table. The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world.

Progression And Strategy

• Early combat: Use left-click strikes freely — 50 damage per hit will one-shot or two-shot nearly any mob in the game.
• Crowd control: When surrounded, hold right-click and release early to cluster enemies together with the implosion before following up with melee strikes.
• Boss fights: Charge to 100% and release for Tornado Form to deal sustained area damage while staying mobile and deflecting enemy attacks with the knockback effect.
• Cooldown management: The implosion carries a 3-second cooldown, so time your charges carefully. Tornado Form is a major commitment — save it for high-value fights.
• Durability: The Tempest Imploder has 2,000 durability. Heavy use of charged abilities costs additional durability, so keep a supply of netherite for repairs.
