Quickstart

1. Get a Tapfire Pistol and Tapfire Pistol Magazine from the Creative inventory, or craft them at a crafting table using the recipes below.
2. Keep magazine items in your inventory or offhand so the pistol can use them as ammunition.
3. Hold the pistol and tap Use while aiming at a target. Each tap fires one shot; tap again to fire another.

Overview

Tapfire Arsenal is a straightforward pistol mod: aim, tap to shoot, and watch a brief beam trace the shot. The pistol fires instantly rather than launching a traveling bullet.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Aim with the pistol in your main hand and use it to fire. Repeated taps fire repeated shots; holding Use does not make the pistol fire continuously.
• The shot reaches up to 42 blocks and deals 7 damage to the first damageable target in its path. Blocks obstruct the shot, and the pistol does not break them.
• Keep Tapfire Pistol Magazines in your inventory or offhand for ammunition.

Abilities And Mechanics

Each shot produces a brief beam and firing sound. The beam follows your aim and ends at a target, an obstruction, or the pistol’s maximum range.

Progression And Strategy

Craft extra magazines before heading out, and use separate taps to control your shots. Aim carefully: the pistol is most effective when your target is within range and not behind a block.
