Swift Stone Tree
Quickstart
- In Creative mode, open the Swift Stone Tree item group to try the mod’s blocks and spawn eggs. Use a spawn egg on the ground to meet its creature.
- To visit the Swift, find an unlit Deep Dark Portal frame and play five different notes nearby. When it awakens, step through; use a portal again to return.
- In the Swift, try using a Chimebell on a Blub, and keep clear of ichor until you know the terrain.
- For a combat experiment, drop a Diamond Spear into ichor to forge a Spectral Spear.
Overview
Swift Stone Tree adds a song-filled dimension of red stone, pink meadows, unusual plants, ichor pools, and new creatures. Its areas include Humbler Huskland, Ravines, Ichor Pools, Singer’s Meadow, Sifter Canyon, Lullaby Hills, and Wild Meadows.
What It Adds
- Terrain and building materials: Swiftstone, Tidestone, Blush Sand, and families of brick, polished, mossy, and decorative blocks.
- Plants and trees: Swift Stone Tree and White Willow blocks, plus flowers, grasses, moss, and other vegetation.
- Creatures: Blubs, Singers, swiftlings, Echo Golems, and many others, including Pollinators, Hunters, Hurlers, Stalkers, and Trappers.
- Major adversaries: the Harmonizer, Twisted Warden, and Monarch.
- Special items: Chimebells, ichor buckets, a Singer’s music disc, and the Spectral Spear.
How To Use
Entering the Swift
Activate an unlit Deep Dark Portal frame by playing five different notes close to it. Once it hums to life, step through. A portal provides the way back as well.
Meeting the inhabitants
- Blubs: Use a Chimebell on a Blub to tame it. Blubs may also be seen bathing in ichor.
- Singers: Listen for their songs; a Singer can give you a gift of song.
- Echo Golems: Combine a Soul Block and an Echo Totem to build one. Music can wake a dormant Golem. A resting Golem sleeps until the Thrive tide.
- Ichor: Ichor is dangerous to enter. Drop a Diamond Spear into it to forge a Spectral Spear.
Tides
The Swift has three tides:
| Tide | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Flow | Souls are still. |
| Thrive | Drained Soul Blocks recharge when placed in the Swift. |
| Endure | Soul-corrupted monsters rise. |
Check the tide before working with Soul Blocks or exploring areas where corrupted monsters may appear.
Crafting And Obtaining
Swiftstone, Tidestone, and Blush Sandstone have crafted or stonecut variants for building. White Willow and Swift Stone Tree blocks provide additional wood and foliage options.
The Echo Totem recipe uses polished Swiftstone and an Echo Shard:

A Diamond Spear becomes a Spectral Spear when dropped into ichor; this transformation does not use a crafting grid.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Music matters: different notes awaken the portal, and music can wake a dormant Echo Golem. The Singer’s Lullaby of the Swift is available as a music disc.
- Soul Blocks respond to the tide: a drained one recharges in the Swift during Thrive.
- Ichor can harm you: take care around pools, even when approaching a Blub’s bath.
- Beds cannot be used for sleeping in the Swift.
Progression And Strategy
Explore the different areas to find new terrain, materials, and creatures. Try peaceful interactions first—tame a Blub or listen for a Singer’s gift—then prepare for the more dangerous inhabitants. Save drained Soul Blocks for Thrive, and be cautious around ichor and during Endure. The Harmonizer, Twisted Warden, and Monarch offer major challenges to seek out.
