Craft Sturdy Ice at a crafting table using 8 Packed Ice around an empty center slot:

Place the block, then walk across it to try its slippery surface. In Creative mode, look for Sturdy Ice in the Nature category.

Overview

Sturdy Ice is a solid building block with a slick surface. Walking onto it can carry your momentum forward, while players who step on it are briefly slowed.

What It Adds

• Sturdy Ice: A craftable block for building, pathways, and slippery sections.

How To Use

Place it like any other block. Entities moving across it can retain extra horizontal momentum. Players who step on it receive Slowness for about 4 seconds; the effect has no visible particles.

Sturdy Ice takes a long time to mine, but breaking it drops Sturdy Ice so you can collect and reuse it.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting recipe unlocks when you have Packed Ice. Each craft yields 1 Sturdy Ice.
