Description
Call in five devastating airstrikes with the Stormfall Airstrike mod: craft or obtain one of the five Designator items (Nuclear, Carpet Bomb, Acid, MOAB, or Bunker Buster) and use it while aiming at a block or forward point to mark a target. Each strike has its own scripted sequence and warning countdown with action‑bar feedback and per-player cooldowns: Nuclear triggers a massive blast with shockwave and lingering radiation-style sickness, MOAB delivers a huge central explosion with secondary blasts, knockback and weakness, Carpet Bomb rains multi-wave grid bombs across an area, Acid produces poisonous/slowness acid clouds and corrosive bursts that don’t break blocks, and Bunker Buster drills downward in a shaft‑clearing impact. Aim, activate, wait out the warning, and watch the cinematic effects — but be careful, these strikes are powerful and can leave deadly status effects and large-scale destruction.

Stormfall Airstrike
Quickstart
- Open a Crafting Table and craft one of the five Designator items (see recipes below).
- Hold the Designator in your hand.
- Aim at a block or in the direction you want to target, then use (right-click / tap the use button) to designate the target point.
- Watch your action bar — a countdown warning appears in red (e.g. Nuclear Airstrike inbound: 5s) and a pling sound plays each second.
- Get clear of the blast zone before the timer hits zero!
A good first strike to test is the Carpet Bomb — it has a short cooldown and a clear, visible multi-bomb pattern.
Overview
Stormfall Airstrike adds five military-style airstrike abilities to Minecraft. Each strike is triggered by holding and using a Designator item. After a brief warning countdown, a scripted, cinematic strike sequence plays out at the targeted location. All five strikes are per-player with individual cooldowns, so you can't chain them back-to-back.
What It Adds
| Designator | Warning | Cooldown |
|---|
| Nuclear Airstrike Designator | 5 seconds | 60 seconds |
| MOAB Airstrike Designator | 5 seconds | 45 seconds |
| Bunker Buster Airstrike Designator | 4 seconds | 35 seconds |
| Carpet Bomb Airstrike Designator | 3 seconds | 20 seconds |
| Acid Airstrike Designator | 3 seconds | 18 seconds |
All Designators are found in the Equipment tab of the creative inventory and stack to only 1.

Acid Airstrike Designator
MOAB Airstrike Designator

How To Use
- Hold the desired Designator item.
- Aim at a surface or look in the direction you want to strike. The target is set roughly 40 blocks in front of you, or at the block you are looking at.
- Use the item (right-click / screen tap) to call in the strike.
- The target location will emit flame and critical-hit particles, and a red action-bar message will count down to impact. A pling sound plays each second.
- Any player within 48 blocks of the target receives the countdown warning.
- Once the timer expires, the strike executes its full sequence.
- After using a Designator, it enters a per-player cooldown — the action bar will notify you if you try to use it too early.
Abilities And Mechanics
☢️ Nuclear Airstrike
- Warning: 5 s | Cooldown: 60 s
- Triggers a massive central explosion (radius 12) followed by a ring of secondary blasts radiating outward.
- Applies Wither II and Blindness to all entities within ~28 blocks.
- Knocks back entities up to 30 blocks away with extreme force.
- Leaves large-scale terrain destruction.
💣 MOAB Airstrike
- Warning: 5 s | Cooldown: 45 s
- Delivers a huge central explosion with multiple secondary blasts.
- Applies Knockback and Weakness to nearby entities.
- One of the largest single-impact strikes.
🔩 Bunker Buster Airstrike
- Warning: 4 s | Cooldown: 35 s
- Drills downward from the target point, carving a shaft through terrain.
- Designed to pierce through layers of blocks before detonating deep underground.
- Effective against buried structures.
💥 Carpet Bomb Airstrike
- Warning: 3 s | Cooldown: 20 s
- Rains bombs in a multi-wave grid pattern across a wide area around the target.
- Multiple sequential explosions cover a large surface area.
- Great for clearing open terrain.
🧪 Acid Airstrike
- Warning: 3 s | Cooldown: 18 s
- Spawns poisonous acid clouds and corrosive bursts at the target.
- Applies Poison and Slowness to affected entities.
- Does not break blocks — safe to use in builds you want to keep intact while still threatening players and mobs.
Progression And Strategy
- Start with Acid or Carpet Bomb — they use common materials and have the shortest cooldowns, making them great for early experimentation.
- MOAB and Nuclear require rarer ingredients (Nether Star, Diamonds, Blaze Powder) and are intended as late-game options with appropriately long cooldowns.
- Bunker Buster is the go-to for underground targets; aim at the surface above a buried base to drill down into it.
- Use Acid defensively in structures you want to preserve — it harms entities without touching terrain.
- Always stand well back (at least 30+ blocks for Nuclear/MOAB) before the countdown ends. Status effects like Wither and Poison linger long after the blast.
- Since cooldowns are per-player, multiple players can coordinate to chain different strike types in quick succession for maximum effect.
