Quickstart

1. Open a Crafting Table and craft a Stone-Disguised TNT block using 8 Stone surrounding 1 TNT.
2. Place the block anywhere in the world — it looks like ordinary stone with subtle TNT markings.
3. Interact (Use) the block to prime it. The block disappears, a fuse sound plays, and a live TNT entity spawns in its place.
4. Run — the TNT will explode just like normal TNT!

Overview

Stonecloak TNT adds a single craftable block — the Stone-Disguised TNT — designed for traps, pranks, and surprise explosions. It blends into stone-heavy builds thanks to its stone-like texture with only subtle TNT details hinting at its true nature. Unsuspecting players (or mobs) walking past will see nothing unusual, while careful observers may notice something is off.

How To Use

Placing the Block

Place Stone-Disguised TNT just like any other block. It fits seamlessly into stone walls, floors, and structures. It can be mined with a pickaxe (takes about 1.5 seconds) and will drop itself, so misplaced blocks are easy to recover.

⚠️ The block has zero explosion resistance — a nearby explosion will destroy it without triggering it, so protect your traps accordingly.

Priming the Trap

Walk up to the block and interact/use it (Right-click on Java-style controllers, or the Use button on touch/gamepad). This instantly:

• Removes the disguised block
• Plays a fuse sound at that location
• Summons a live TNT entity that counts down and explodes

There is no delay between interaction and the TNT entity appearing — the fuse begins immediately.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Stone disguise: The block uses an opaque stone-style texture, making it hard to distinguish from regular stone at a glance.
• Interact to prime: Only a player directly interacting with the block triggers the TNT — simply walking over or near it is safe.
• Drops itself when mined: Breaking the block with a pickaxe recovers the item; it does not explode when mined.
• Instant TNT summon: Priming replaces the block with a standard TNT entity centered in the block's space, complete with the classic fuse sound.
• Explosion vulnerability: The block has no explosion resistance, so it can be destroyed (without detonating) by other explosions.

Progression And Strategy

• Early traps: As soon as you have stone and TNT, you can start laying traps in cave entrances, doorways, or corridors.
• Blending in: Build a stone wall or floor around your trap so the disguised block is indistinguishable from the rest of the structure.
• Multiplayer pranks: Place blocks in high-traffic areas — other players who interact with what they think is a decorative block will get a nasty surprise.
• Mob traps: Mob interaction does not prime the block, so this is purely a player-triggered device — plan accordingly when designing mob farms or traps.
• Recovery: If you change your mind, just mine the block with a pickaxe to safely retrieve it without any explosion.
