Stingray Boss Hatchery

Quickstart

1. On your first join, look beside world spawn for the teal hatchery kiosk. You receive one free Small Stingray Egg and are taken to the shop.
2. Right-click the kiosk and choose Start next boss fight. A named Ravager appears about five blocks in front of you.
3. Defeat it. Your egg hatches into a tamed wolf companion, and you earn Hatchery Coins.
4. Spend coins at the kiosk on more eggs, then win another boss fight to hatch them.

You can also use /hatchery shop to return to the kiosk, /hatchery fight to start a fight, and /hatchery status to check your coins, victories, and unhatched eggs.

Overview

The hatchery is a repeatable boss-and-companion challenge. Buy eggs with coins earned from victories; eggs in your inventory hatch when you defeat your next hatchery boss. Each victory unlocks a stronger next boss.

Despite their names, the ray companions are tamed wolves. They are named for their egg tier and fight alongside their owner.

What It Adds

• A Hatchery Shop kiosk at world spawn, with a menu for buying eggs, starting fights, and checking status.
• Hatchery Coins and three egg tiers.
• Named Ravager bosses that grow stronger with each victory.
• Tamed wolf companions with different health and attack strength by egg tier.

How To Use

Right-click the kiosk to open its menu. Its buttons let you buy Small, Reef, or Storm eggs, start the next fight, or view your status. You can use the corresponding commands instead:

• /hatchery buy small, /hatchery buy reef, or /hatchery buy storm
• /hatchery fight
• /hatchery status
• /hatchery shop

Only one boss fight can be active for you at a time. The boss spawns in front of you and targets you, so prepare for combat before starting. Your hatched companions fight by your side.

Crafting And Obtaining

Eggs are bought at the hatchery shop, not crafted. Your first Small Stingray Egg is free; additional eggs cost:

Defeating a boss awards coins. Your first victory gives 10 coins, and each successive victory gives 5 more coins than the previous reward.

Abilities And Mechanics

Eggs do not hatch when used or placed. After you defeat your next hatchery boss, all eggs of each tier in your inventory hatch into tamed companions:

Bosses are Ravagers named by tier. Their health, attack damage, and armor increase with each victory, so later fights are more demanding.

Progression And Strategy

Use the free Small egg and first fight to get your initial companion and coins. Save coins for higher-tier eggs if you want tougher companions, and keep any purchased eggs in your inventory until you win a boss fight. Check /hatchery status to see how many eggs are waiting to hatch and how many victories you have earned.
