Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table and craft all four armor pieces (recipes below).
2. Equip the Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots in all four armor slots.
3. That's it — the full-set bonuses activate automatically the moment all four pieces are worn together.
4. Hover over any piece in your inventory to read a tooltip reminder of the set bonuses.

Overview

Steelforge Aegis Armor is a four-piece armor set built for near-invulnerability. Every piece has effectively unlimited durability — it will never break. The individual pieces already provide defense values that rival or exceed diamond armor, and wearing the complete set triggers two powerful bonuses that stack on top of the base protection.

All four pieces display an enchantment glint, signaling their exceptional quality.

What It Adds

All pieces are found in the Combat creative inventory tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

Per-Piece Stats (each piece)

• Unbreakable — durability never depletes.
• High base armor defense (helmet: 4, chestplate: 9, leggings: 7, boots: 4).
• Armor Toughness: 3.0 on every piece.
• Knockback Resistance: 10% per piece (40% total for the full set).
• Enchantability: 15 — accepts enchantments readily.

Full Set Bonus (all four pieces required)

Equipping every piece at once grants two additional effects that work together:

• Damage Reduction — 10 points flat: Before any other damage calculation, 10 points (5 hearts) are subtracted from every incoming hit. Hits that deal 10 or fewer points of damage are reduced to zero.
• Constant Resistance: A permanent Resistance status effect is applied, reducing all damage taken by a further 20%. This is refreshed continuously while the full set is worn, so it never expires.

These two bonuses combine with the armor's base defense to make the wearer extremely difficult to kill.

Tooltip Reference

Every piece shows the following tooltip lines in your inventory:

• Full Set: Blocks 10 damage per hit
• Full Set: Grants Resistance
• Unbreakable

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Boots and Leggings first since they use only Iron Ingots and Chain — materials available early to mid-game.
• The Helmet requires a Netherite Ingot and Chain, so plan a Nether expedition before completing the set.
• The Chestplate requires Diamonds and an Iron Chestplate as a crafting ingredient — gather diamonds before attempting it.
• Wear all four pieces as soon as possible. The flat 10-damage reduction is especially powerful against hard-hitting mobs like the Warden or bosses, potentially negating entire attacks outright.
• Consider enchanting individual pieces (enchantability 15 is high) to layer even more protection on top of the set bonuses.
• Because the armor never breaks, there is no need to maintain repair materials after crafting — your investment is permanent.
