Description
Craft spinning tops and battle rivals in stadiums, winning by ring-out or outlasting them. A Beyblade launcher converts mechanical pulling force into rotational kinetic energy to spin a Beyblade top. The core mechanism involves a Beyblade attached to the launcher’s prongs or hooks, which are connected to an internal gear system. There are three primary launcher types, each operating differently: String Launchers: These use a self-retracting string. The user holds the handle and pulls the string rapidly; the string’s friction against an internal gear spins the Beyblade. For maximum power, the grip is designed to slip at the end of the pull, allowing the string to retract without damaging the gears. Winder/Ripcord Launchers: These use a rigid, notched plastic strip (ripcord) that threads into an internal gear. Pulling the strip straight out engages the gear teeth, transferring torque directly to the Beyblade’s drive teeth. This method provides a consistent, centered initial spin with less technique required than string launchers. Entry Launchers: The most basic type, included in starter kits. It uses a short ripcord and a single internal gear, resulting in the lowest launch power and speed compared to winder or string variants. The physics behind the launch rely on centrifugal force and conservation of energy. The force applied to the launcher transforms into kinetic energy, spinning the Beyblade at high RPMs. The resulting centrifugal force keeps the top stable on its axis, preventing it from falling out of the stadium until friction or collision slows it down. Launch angles (flat vs. angled) further influence the Beyblade’s movement pattern within the arena. Attack Types utilize heavy, outward-weighted fusion wheels and sharp tips to generate high centrifugal force and aggressive velocity, aiming to knock opponents out of the stadium. Defense Types feature wide, flat tips and inward weight distribution to absorb impacts, reduce recoil, and maintain stability in the center of the arena. Stamina Types employ low-friction tips and evenly distributed mass to minimize energy loss, allowing them to spin longer than opponents. Balance Types combine attributes of the other three types for versatile, all-around performance. In the Beyblade Burst system, an additional mechanical ability called "Burst" allows a Beyblade to disassemble into parts upon receiving significant impact. This occurs when the driver spins independently from the energy layer, bypassing locking teeth and causing the top to explode, which awards the player extra points. While anime series depict special moves involving spirits or magnetic control, real-life capabilities are strictly limited to these engineered physical interactions and launch techniques.

Stadium Spin Clash
Quickstart
- Craft a Spin Core, then use it to make a top and a Battle Stadium. Recipe references:
- Place the Battle Stadium. Have at least two players stand within 12 blocks, then right-click the stadium to start a match. Alternatively, a player can run
/spinbattle startwith the other players nearby. - Hold a top and right-click to launch it in the direction you’re facing. Each player can launch once per round.
- Stay inside the arena and try to outlast the other players’ spinning tops. The winner receives one Spin Core.
Overview
Stadium Spin Clash is a multiplayer top-battling game. Players launch tops at rivals in a timed match, trying to knock them out of the ring or keep their own top spinning longer.
What It Adds
- Battle Stadium: A block you can place and activate to start a match.
- Four Spin Tops: Attack, Defense, Stamina, and Balance variants.
- Spin Core: A crafting ingredient and the match winner’s reward.
- Match records: Spin Wins and Spin Losses scoreboard objectives.
How To Use
Right-click a placed Battle Stadium to start a match. The initiator and players within 12 blocks are included; at least two players are needed. A match can also be started with /spinbattle start, centered on the player who runs it.
The arena is an area around the match’s starting point, not a physical wall. Stay within 7 blocks horizontally and don’t fall too far below the arena. The match HUD displays the countdown.
Hold a top and right-click to launch it in your facing direction. Tops travel without falling under gravity. Hitting a block or entity ends the top’s spin; hits on living targets also deal damage and knock them back. Tops can also stop when their spin time runs out.
A match ends when one player remains in the ring, or, once all remaining players have launched, when only one still has a spinning top. Matches have a 90-second limit; if time runs out, the player with the most health wins, with distance to the center used to break a tie.
Use /spinbattle stats to check your wins and losses. /spinbattle shows the same record. An operator can end a match with /spinbattle stop.
Crafting And Obtaining
Crafting recipes:
| Item | Recipe |
|---|---|
| Spin Core | |
| Attack Spin Top | |
| Defense Spin Top | |
| Stamina Spin Top | |
| Balance Spin Top | |
| Battle Stadium |
The match winner receives one Spin Core. If their inventory is full, it drops nearby.
Abilities And Mechanics
Top stats affect their maximum spin time and how they perform on a hit. Approximate spin time applies when a top doesn’t hit anything first.
| Top | Maximum spin time | Damage on a living-target hit | Knockback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack | 2.3 seconds | 5 | 1.45 |
| Defense | 5 seconds | 2 | 0.45 |
| Stamina | 6.75 seconds | 1.5 | 0.30 |
| Balance | 3.9 seconds | 3.2 | 0.85 |
Progression And Strategy
Choose a top to suit your approach: Attack hits hardest and launches fastest, while Stamina spins the longest. Defense lasts longer than Attack and has the lowest knockback; Balance offers middle-ground spin time and impact.
Aim carefully: a top that hits a block or entity stops spinning. Keep moving within the ring, and launch during the round—once everyone still in the match has launched, players whose tops have stopped are eliminated. Winning improves your Spin Wins record and supplies a Spin Core for crafting.
