Description
The Spear of Heaven Ascension is a glowing celestial weapon that deals a minimum of 50 base attack damage, is unbreakable, and has extremely high enchantability, with a right-click skill tree that lets you spend XP to unlock and upgrade five amplified ability paths—Divine Damage, Celestial Speed, Heaven's Knockback, Sacred Flame, and Soul Drain—each boosted 1000× for massive damage, attack speed, knockback, burn duration, and healing. Use it as a normal melee weapon (left-click to strike); right-click to open its skill tree and invest XP, and hover over the spear in your inventory to see a tooltip listing unlocked upgrades and their levels. It now acts like both a spear and a mace: attack speed is increased, horizontal movement during an attack grants momentum-based bonus damage for spear-like lunges, and falling attacks deal extra damage from fall distance and downward velocity for heavy mace-style smashes, with the tooltip explaining these movement- and fall-based bonus mechanics.

Quickstart
- Craft the Spear of Heaven Ascension at a Smithing Table using a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, a Trident, and a Nether Star.
- Hold it in your hand — it glows with an enchantment sheen at all times.
- Left-click to strike enemies with devastating melee attacks (50+ base damage).
- Right-click to open the Skill Tree screen and spend XP levels to unlock abilities.
- Hover over the spear in your inventory to see a tooltip listing all unlocked upgrades and their current levels.
Overview
The Spear of Heaven Ascension is a single, unbreakable celestial weapon built for end-game combat. It combines the lunging reach of a spear with the ground-smashing power of a mace, and layers on top of that a fully upgradeable skill tree powered by your XP. Every ability in the tree is amplified to extreme levels — this is a weapon designed for overwhelming force.

How To Use
Basic Melee
Left-click to attack. The spear deals at least 50 base damage per hit and strikes faster than a standard sword.
Skill Tree
Right-click while holding the spear to open the Spear of Heaven – Skill Tree screen. Each of the five abilities can be leveled up to 5 by spending XP levels. Click an upgrade button to purchase the next level. The button displays the current level and how many XP levels the next upgrade costs. When an ability reaches level 5, the button shows MAXED and becomes inactive. After purchasing an upgrade the screen closes; reopen it to continue investing.
Inventory Tooltip
Hover over the spear in your inventory at any time to see which upgrades are unlocked and at what level.
Crafting And Obtaining
The recipe is automatically unlocked when you join a world — no advancement unlock required. Craft it at a Smithing Table:

Skill Tree Upgrades
Each ability costs XP levels per rank. Costs increase with each level purchased.

All five abilities are amplified 1,000× their base values for staggering results:

Momentum-Based Bonus Damage (Spear & Mace Mechanics)
Every hit also calculates bonus damage from your movement:
- Spear Lunge — Horizontal movement speed at the moment of the attack adds bonus damage. Sprint or dash toward a target and swing to maximise this.
- Mace Smash — Falling deals additional damage based on both fall distance and downward velocity. Drop onto enemies from height for a devastating smash.
Both bonuses stack with each other and with skill tree upgrades. The tooltip on the spear in your inventory explains these mechanics.
Progression And Strategy
- Early investment: Prioritise Soul Drain first to sustain yourself through tough fights. Even a single level provides enormous healing per hit.
- Burst damage: Divine Damage delivers the single largest damage spike per level. Pair it with a lunge or fall attack for immediate kill potential.
- Crowd control: Heaven's Knockback sends enemies flying — useful for keeping groups at bay or launching enemies off edges.
- Sustained pressure: Sacred Flame keeps enemies burning for thousands of ticks, dealing continuous fire damage even after they escape your melee range.
- Lunge attacks: Sprint at full speed before swinging to maximise the spear's horizontal momentum bonus.
- Smash attacks: Climb or fly above enemies and drop, then swing at the bottom of your fall to combine fall distance, downward velocity, and base damage simultaneously.
- The spear is unbreakable and has extremely high enchantability — visit an enchanting table or use an anvil to stack additional enchantments on top of the skill tree for even more power.
