Skyfire Jet Balloon

Quickstart

1. Get the Skyfire Jet Balloon placer from the Creative inventory, or craft one with the recipe below.
2. Use the placer on a block in an open area. The balloon appears beside the block and you automatically climb aboard. Placing it does not consume the placer.
3. Use your movement controls to fly and steer by looking where you want to go.
4. Aim at a foe and use/tap (or right-click) or press Jump to fire the laser. Watch the action bar for the Fire Laser prompt and cooldown.

Overview

The Skyfire Jet Balloon is a one-seat flying vehicle with no gravity. It lets you travel through the air and fire at targets while mounted.

How To Use

• Steer with your usual movement controls. Looking in a direction guides your flight; moving backward is slower than moving forward.
• Fire by using/tapping or right-clicking, or by pressing Jump. The weapon has a brief cooldown of about half a second.
• Crouch/sneak to dismount. Your view switches to third person while riding, and your character and equipment are hidden until you get off.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The balloon can fly freely without gravity and carries one player.
• Its laser fires a fast projectile in the direction you are looking.
• The action bar displays the firing prompt and, while recharging, the remaining cooldown.

Progression And Strategy

There is no separate progression system. Try flying above obstacles, then aim carefully at targets before firing.
