Skyfall Warhead

Quickstart

1. Craft the Skyfall Warhead using the recipe below and add it to your hotbar — it also appears in the Combat creative tab.
2. Aim your crosshair at any block within 200 blocks.
3. Right-click to launch. A warhead spawns 65 blocks above your target and plummets down.
4. Stand well back — the impact triggers a massive cluster explosion that obliterates everything in the blast zone.

Overview

The Skyfall Warhead is a single-use thrown weapon that calls in a devastating aerial strike. Right-clicking targets a block through a raycast up to 200 blocks away, instantly spawning the warhead high above that point. It free-falls under gravity and detonates on contact with the ground, unleashing nine overlapping explosions for catastrophic area destruction.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Aim at the block you want to strike — the warhead will appear directly above that block, not above you.
• Right-click to deploy. A launch sound plays immediately confirming the strike has been called.
• If your crosshair isn't hitting any block, the warhead spawns 100 blocks in front of you at eye level instead.
• The item is consumed on use in Survival mode, so each click costs one warhead.
• A 5-second cooldown applies after each use — the item will grey out in your hotbar during this time.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked as soon as you join a world. All ingredients are late-game materials, reflecting the weapon's destructive power.

Abilities And Mechanics

Deployment

• The warhead spawns centered over the clicked block, 65 blocks above it.
• It accelerates downward due to gravity and detonates the moment it touches the ground (or after roughly 10 seconds of falling if it somehow stays airborne).

Cluster Explosion On impact the warhead detonates as nine simultaneous explosions:

• One central blast (power 12 — far stronger than standard TNT)
• Four cardinal blasts 3 blocks out (power 6 each)
• Four diagonal blasts ~2.8 blocks out (power 5 each)

All blasts interact with terrain like TNT, destroying blocks and dealing massive damage to any entities in the area.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Skyfall Warhead only once you have access to Netherite and have defeated the Ender Dragon (End Crystals) and the Wither (Nether Star).
• The 5-second cooldown and single-use consumption mean each warhead is a precious resource — save them for situations where raw, wide-area destruction is the goal.
• You can carry up to 16 per slot, giving you a rapid-strike capacity for sieging large structures or clearing huge swaths of terrain.
• Always ensure you are well outside the blast radius before triggering — the cluster explosion is large enough to kill an unprotected player even at moderate distances.
• Use the 200-block targeting range to strike from a safe vantage point far from the impact site.
