Shooting Star Demo
Quickstart
- Craft a Stellar Remote with iron ingots, redstone, and a compass. You can also take it from the Creative inventory.
- Hold the remote and use it to open its menu. Choose Cosmic Tour to see the Earth, Jupiter, and galaxy sequence.
- For the cannon, craft a Satellite Cannon with a Nether Star, spyglass, iron ingots, and redstone. Use it while aiming at a target, or choose Satellite Cannon in the remote menu to fire.
- Try the other remote options—Gunger, Seven Stars, and Tesseract—for more block-built cosmic scenes. An open area in front of you helps the scenes show clearly.
Neither item needs ammunition.
Overview
The Stellar Remote presents a menu of cosmic scenes and a cannon blast. Its sequences frame temporary, block-built images of planets and space; some end with a brief magma-colored effect on the ground.
What It Adds

How To Use
- Open the menu: Hold the Stellar Remote and use it, then select an option.
- Fire the cannon: Hold the Satellite Cannon, aim at a target, and use it. The Satellite Cannon option in the remote menu fires the same blast.
- Watch a sequence: The remote changes to a cutscene-style view while its block-built scene plays. Give the scene some clear space ahead of you.
- Return to play: Scene blocks and the temporary ground effect are cleaned up when the sequence ends.

| Satellite Cannon | Fires a flame-like blast along your aim, up to about 96 blocks. It deals extremely high damage to the first entity in its path; a block can stop the shot. |
| Gunger | A rocket circles Jupiter, then strikes Earth. The scene ends with a magma-and-colored-block version of half the planet and a temporary matching ground effect. |
| Seven Stars | Seven block-built stars strike Earth one by one, followed by a similar temporary magma-colored finish. |
| Tesseract | Shows Earth and a galaxy, then a rotating tesseract and a folded-looking Earth scene. |
The cannon has no ammo or reload. The block-built scenes use temporary blocks, and the ground effect is restored when the sequence finishes.
