Shieldbreaker Mace Slam

Quickstart

1. Put a vanilla axe and a mace in your hotbar.
2. Enable the combo with /stanslam on (or /stanslam to toggle it).
3. Aim at a nearby player who is actively blocking with a shield. Keep them in sight as you fall.
4. The mod switches to your axe for a hit, launches you upward, then switches to your mace for a follow-up slam as you descend.

The combo starts only when your attack cooldown is at least 90% and you aren’t using an item. To check whether it’s enabled, use /stanslam status.

Overview

Shieldbreaker Mace Slam automates an axe-to-mace attack against shield users. It adds no new weapons: you supply the vanilla axe and mace, and the mod handles the weapon swap and jump.

How To Use

• Keep both weapons in your hotbar; the mod searches those slots for an axe and a mace.
• For the opening hit, aim directly at a shield-blocking player within about 4.5 blocks, with a clear line of sight.
• After the axe hit, keep aiming at the same player while you rise and fall. The mace slam needs line of sight and a target within your interaction reach, up to 6 blocks.
• The slam triggers while you’re descending after falling at least 1.2 blocks. If you lose sight of the target or move out of range, keep aiming at them; the combo can complete within 80 ticks (4 seconds).
• The mod selects the axe and then the mace for you. It does not switch back to your previous hotbar slot automatically.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Axe opener: Hits the player who is blocking with a shield to break their guard.
• Mace follow-up: Launches you upward after the opener and attacks the same target with your mace as you fall.
• Cooldown: After the opener, the combo cannot start again for 200 ticks (10 seconds).
• Commands: Use /stanslam on, /stanslam off, or /stanslam toggle to control the feature. /stanslam status reports whether it is on or off. It starts off until enabled.
