Quickstart

1. Gather netherite ingots and craft the full Shadow Armor set (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots).
2. Wear all four pieces at once — this is required for the armor's powers to activate.
3. Craft a Broken Chain and keep it in your hand or hotbar; right-click (or use it) to instantly heal.
4. Forge the massive Shadowblade to crush enemies in a single hit.
5. Craft the Shadow Gauntlet for a wearable healing effect on the arm.
6. Head into combat wearing the full set — you'll shrug off damage and punish anyone who hits you.

Overview

Shadows adds a set of cursed, overwhelmingly powerful equipment: an unbreakable shadow-themed armor set, a devastating greatsword, and cursed trinkets that restore your health. It's built for players who want an unstoppable, boss-tier loadout to dominate any fight.

Crafting And Obtaining

All items are crafted at a crafting table using netherite ingots, amethyst shards, blaze rods, and iron ingots.

The Broken Chain is also a key ingredient for crafting the Shadow Gauntlet, so craft a few extra if you want both the healing item and the gauntlet.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Shadowblade: An oversized cursed sword that deals catastrophic amounts of damage — enough to end most fights in a single swing. It never wears out.
• Broken Chain: Use it to instantly heal a large amount of health, accompanied by a chime sound and a message confirming the restoration. It never runs out when used.
• Shadow Gauntlet: Worn on the arm; using it triggers the same powerful healing effect as the Broken Chain.
• Full Shadow Armor Set Bonus: When you wear the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots together, you gain:
  • Near-total damage resistance while the set is worn.
  • Immunity to fire and lava damage.
  • Any hit that would harm you instead fully restores your health and reflects catastrophic damage back onto whoever attacked you.
  • The set never breaks or loses durability.

Wearing only some pieces of the set will not grant these effects — all four armor pieces must be equipped simultaneously.

Progression And Strategy

Shadows equipment is endgame-tier gear meant for creative or sandbox-style play rather than balanced survival progression. Focus your early efforts on gathering netherite ingots, since every armor piece and the Shadowblade require them in bulk. Once the full armor set is assembled and worn together, you become nearly unkillable — attackers who strike you take devastating retaliatory damage while your health is fully restored. Combine this with the Shadowblade for offense and the Broken Chain or Shadow Gauntlet as backup healing to build a loadout capable of overwhelming any encounter.
