Sculk Resonance Blade

Quickstart

1. Obtain the blade from the Creative inventory under Equipment, or craft it at a crafting table.
2. To craft one, combine reinforced deepslate, an echo shard, and a stick:

1. Equip the Sculk Resonance Blade in your main hand.
2. Aim at a mob and press the Use Item control. The blade fires a fast sonic boom in the direction you are looking and plays a sculk-themed sound.
3. Use the blade as a melee weapon when enemies get close.

For commands, use:

/give @s com_sculk_resonance_blade_zz2wsgpu:my_sword

Overview

The Sculk Resonance Blade combines a sword with a ranged sonic attack. Strike nearby enemies directly or use the blade to launch sonic booms at targets from a distance.

How To Use

Sonic boom

Hold the blade and activate Use Item while looking toward your target. A sonic boom is launched from just ahead of you and travels in the direction of your view.

• Aim directly at a mob for a level shot.
• Aim upward or downward to send the boom along that angle.
• The attack does not require a separate ammunition item.
• The blade uses a bow-style activation animation.
• Movement is reduced while the blade is being used.

Melee combat

Use the blade like a sword against nearby mobs. Its base melee damage is 8, making it useful when a target is too close for a comfortable sonic-boom attack.

Crafting And Obtaining

The blade is crafted at a crafting table from:

• 1 reinforced deepslate
• 1 echo shard
• 1 stick

The recipe produces one Sculk Resonance Blade.

You can also obtain it directly from the Creative inventory or with the item command shown in Quickstart.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Sculk power: Activating the blade creates a damaging sonic boom that blasts mobs in the direction you are facing.
• Directional aiming: The attack follows your view direction, including upward and downward angles.
• Durability: The blade has 2,031 durability and wears down through use.
• Repairing: Reinforced deepslate is the blade’s repair material. Each repair item restores 507 durability.
• Enchantments: The blade can use sword enchantments.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the sonic boom to begin encounters before mobs reach melee range.
• Switch to sword attacks when fighting in tight spaces or when enemies are already nearby.
• Aim carefully, especially when fighting on uneven ground or around cliffs.
• Carry reinforced deepslate when planning extended combat so the blade can be repaired.
• Combine sword enchantments with the blade’s ranged ability to build a versatile combat weapon.
