Quickstart
Craft a sword at a crafting table. Each recipe places its special ingredient above an iron ingot, with a stick in the bottom slot:
- Moonfang: amethyst shard, iron ingot, stick.
- Sunfire Blade: blaze powder, iron ingot, stick.
- Frostmourne Edge: packed ice, iron ingot, stick.
- Stormfang: redstone, diamond, stick.
Put a sword in your hand and hit a target to trigger its power; there’s no separate ability activation.
Overview
Runebound Beasts offers four swords with powers themed around night, fire, frost, and chain lightning. Their special effects happen when you hit an entity.
Abilities And Mechanics

| Frostmourne Edge | 7 | 1,150 | Applies Slowness II for 4 seconds. |
| Stormfang | 7 | 1,000 | Has a 30% chance to chain 4 damage to up to two other nearby living entities within 5 blocks of the target. It won’t hit you or the original target with the chain. |
Progression And Strategy
Choose a sword to suit the fight: use Moonfang for its extra damage at dusk and through the night, Sunfire Blade to burn targets, or Frostmourne Edge to slow them. Stormfang’s chain can damage nearby enemies, so it’s most useful when several targets are close together.
