Resin And Tnt Lighting

Quickstart

Open the Functional Blocks tab in Creative mode and try the Resin Torch, Resin Lantern, TNT Torch, or TNT Lantern. Place a torch on the floor or against a wall; place a lantern on a block or hang it beneath one.

To craft a Resin Torch, arrange honeycomb, coal, and a stick vertically:

For TNT-themed lights, the recipes use TNT Rip. Both TNT Rip and Resin Clump Nugget are available in the Functional Blocks Creative inventory; no crafting recipe for either ingredient is listed.

Overview

The mod adds resin and TNT-themed torches and lanterns for lighting builds. These are stable light sources: despite their TNT theme, they function as lights rather than explosive TNT.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipes below use standard crafting. Recipe images open the full recipe when selected.

The Resin Clump recipe combines nine Resin Clump Nuggets. The TNT recipe uses TNT Rip and gunpowder; it produces ordinary TNT, not a light.

How To Use

Hold a torch or lantern and use the place control on a suitable surface. Torches can be mounted on floors or walls. Lanterns can be placed or hung, like their usual Minecraft counterparts.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Resin Torch emits light level 14. The Resin Lantern, TNT Torch, and TNT Lantern emit light level 15. The TNT-themed lights are decorative lighting blocks and do not behave like explosive TNT when placed.
