Redstone Spear

Quickstart

Craft one spear at a crafting table with one redstone and two sticks, arranged as shown:

Equip it in your hotbar. Attack a target to knock it back and trigger the spear’s redstone effects. Use the item-use control while holding the spear to channel a brief speed boost.

Overview

The Redstone Spear is an uncommon melee weapon with a glowing redstone shaft and crystalline tip. It deals 5 attack damage and has 180 durability.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Spear thrust: Hits push the target back.
• Redstone energy: A hit applies Wither and Weakness for about 2 seconds, with redstone and flame particles at the impact.
• Crystalline shatter: Each hit has a 33% chance to slow the target for 4 seconds and poison it for 2 seconds. A shatter is marked by a shard-like burst and glass sound.
• Redstone pulse: Using the spear grants you Speed II for about 1.5 seconds and produces a small redstone particle flash.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting recipe makes one spear. Redstone can also repair it, restoring 45 durability per redstone. The spear is enchantable as a sword.
