Radius Breaker

Quickstart

1. Craft the Radius Breaker using the recipe below and grab it from your inventory (or find it in the Tools & Utilities creative tab).
2. Stand near a cluster of blocks you want to clear.
3. Right-click to trigger a burst that instantly destroys up to 50 randomly selected blocks within 5 blocks of you, dropping all their items naturally.
4. Wait 2 seconds for the cooldown to expire before using it again.

Overview

The Radius Breaker is a single-use-per-swing area-clearing tool. One right-click and up to 50 blocks surrounding you are shattered simultaneously, with every item dropping as if mined normally. It's perfect for rapid excavation, clearing out caves, or demolishing structures in seconds.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the Radius Breaker to activate it.
• The tool scans all blocks within a 5-block radius around your feet, collects every breakable block, shuffles them randomly, then destroys up to 50 of them in one activation.
• All destroyed blocks drop their items just as if you had mined them by hand.
• An explosion sound plays on activation to confirm the burst.
• After activating, the item enters a 2-second cooldown — the item bar will show the cooldown indicator.
• Each successful activation costs 1 durability. At 0 durability the item breaks.

The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world. Craft the Radius Breaker at a crafting table:

Abilities And Mechanics

• Area of Effect: Sphere-like 5-block radius centered on your position (11×11×11 block cube search area).
• Block Limit: Up to 50 blocks destroyed per use, chosen randomly from all eligible blocks in range.
• Safe Blocks: Bedrock and any block considered unbreakable are always ignored and never destroyed.
• Natural Drops: Every broken block drops its items as if mined legitimately — ores drop resources, chests drop contents, etc.
• Durability: 64 total uses. The tool permanently breaks once durability is depleted, so use it wisely.
• Cooldown: 2 seconds (40 ticks) between activations.

Progression And Strategy

• Save uses for big clears. With only 64 durability, avoid wasting activations on sparse or thin areas — position yourself inside dense terrain or large structures for maximum blocks destroyed per use.
• Ore mining: Stand at the center of a vein or unexplored cave wall. The random selection means you'll rarely clear a perfect sphere, making repeated uses good for chaining through solid stone.
• Demolition: Place yourself inside a building or near a cliff face to tear it down quickly without needing to swing block by block.
• Watch the cooldown bar — activating again before it clears won't trigger another burst, so time your movements and repositioning during those 2 seconds.
