Craft the quill at a crafting table:

Hold it and use it near mobs. Choose a mob type from the menu; damage to matching mobs in the area is held for 30 seconds, then released. Try it with several mobs of the same type nearby to see the shared effect.

Overview

The Quill Of Stored Wrath lets you delay harm to a selected mob type, then deal the accumulated damage all at once. It affects mobs—not players—and the menu selects a type of mob rather than one individual.

How To Use

1. Use the quill to open the mob-selection menu.
2. Choose a listed mob type. The menu shows how many of that type are nearby.
3. For the next 30 seconds, damage to matching mobs is prevented and added to a shared total.
4. When the timer ends, each matching mob still in the area takes damage equal to that total.

The selection area extends about 50 blocks in each horizontal direction from where you opened the menu. If the menu shows no mobs in range, move closer to some mobs and use the quill again.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The hold applies to matching mobs of the chosen type in the area, including matching mobs that enter it while the effect is active.
• Damage from any source contributes to the total.
• At the end of the hold, the same accumulated total is applied separately to every matching mob still in the area. A large group can therefore take substantial damage.
• Selecting the same mob type again while its hold is active keeps the stored damage and sets its end time to at least 30 seconds after the new selection.
