Description
This mod adds the Prism Wool Creeper, a vibrant and colorful variant of the classic creeper that transforms the landscape in a spectacular way when it explodes. Instead of leaving behind a destructive crater, this mob replaces all destroyed blocks with randomly colored wool blocks in all 16 colors, creating a dazzling rainbow explosion. Like normal creepers, it can be charged by lightning to double its explosion radius, resulting in an even more impressive display of colorful wool blocks.

Quickstart
- Open your inventory and find the Prism Wool Creeper spawn egg in the Spawn Eggs creative tab.
- Place the spawn egg on the ground to summon a Prism Wool Creeper.
- Let it spot you and begin its fuse countdown — then step back and watch the explosion fill the blast zone with a burst of randomly colored wool blocks!
Overview
Prism Wool Creeper adds a single new hostile mob: the Prism Wool Creeper. It behaves exactly like a vanilla creeper but with one spectacular difference — instead of leaving a smoking crater, its explosion replaces every destroyed block with a randomly chosen wool block in one of all 16 Minecraft colors, painting the landscape in a rainbow pattern.

How To Use
- Spawning: Use the Prism Wool Creeper spawn egg to place one in the world. It will immediately begin hunting nearby players just like a normal creeper.
- Triggering the explosion: Simply let it close in on you. Once its fuse completes, it detonates and every block within the blast radius that is destroyed gets replaced with a random wool block from all 16 colors.
- Charged variant: Strike a Prism Wool Creeper with lightning (use a trident with Channeling during a thunderstorm, or a lightning rod nearby) to charge it. A charged Prism Wool Creeper has double the explosion radius, creating a much larger and more colorful wool display.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Rainbow Explosion: On detonation, all solid blocks within the blast radius are first destroyed by the standard explosion, then any position left as air is immediately filled with a randomly selected wool block from the full palette of 16 colors (white, orange, magenta, light blue, yellow, lime, pink, gray, light gray, cyan, purple, blue, brown, green, red, and black).
- Normal explosion radius: 3 blocks (same as a standard creeper).
- Charged explosion radius: 6 blocks (doubled when struck by lightning).
- No crater: Unlike vanilla creepers, the Prism Wool Creeper leaves no permanent destruction — only color.
- Standard creeper AI: It has identical stats, movement, detection range, and fuse behavior to a normal creeper.
Progression And Strategy
- Terrain art: Lure Prism Wool Creepers into specific areas to generate large patches of colorful wool — a chaotic but fun way to add color to a landscape.
- Charged displays: Engineering a lightning strike on a Prism Wool Creeper (trident + Channeling enchantment during a thunderstorm) produces a massive 6-block-radius wool sphere, making for an impressive decorative effect.
- Safe observation: Because the explosion replaces blocks rather than simply destroying them, the Prism Wool Creeper is less destructive than its vanilla counterpart — you lose the original blocks but gain wool in return. Build in non-wool materials if you want to avoid accidental redecorating.
