Quickstart

1. Craft a Relic Core — this is the foundation of every relic. See the recipe below.
2. Use the Relic Core to craft whichever relic you want: Relic Blade, Storm Wand, Worldbreaker Pickaxe, or Godheart.
3. Hold any relic and watch the action bar for hints on its right-click abilities.
4. Want to skip crafting and test everything at once? Run /opitems or /powerrelics kit to receive the full set instantly.

Overview

Power Relics is an overpowered gear mod built around a single crafting component — the Relic Core — that unlocks four unique relics reshaping combat, mining, and survival. Each relic has a powerful right-click ability on top of its baseline function, and the mod includes commands to quickly test the full kit.

Tip: You can also run /opitems or /powerrelics kit to receive the Relic Blade, Storm Wand, Worldbreaker Pickaxe, 16 Godhearts, and 4 Relic Cores all at once — great for testing.

Abilities And Mechanics

Relic Blade

• Deals massive base melee damage.
• Right-click activates a temporary damage buff and releases a shockwave that hits nearby enemies.
• Has a cooldown between right-click uses (~5 seconds).

Storm Wand

• Right-click fires a targeted blast at what you are looking at — safe and precise.
• An alternate fire mode (check your action-bar hint) unleashes a devastating burst at the cost of a longer cooldown (~4 seconds).

Worldbreaker Pickaxe

• Functions as an exceptionally powerful pickaxe.
• Right-click mines a full 5×5×5 cube of blocks centred on your target — use with caution near builds.
• Cooldown between area-mine activations (~3 seconds).

Godheart

• Use (right-click) to instantly heal, extinguish fire, and apply a set of powerful buffs.
• Consumed on use outside of Creative mode — stock up before big fights.
• Has a cooldown (~10 seconds) before another can be used.

Progression And Strategy

1. Start with the Relic Core. It requires Diamond Blocks, Netherite Ingots, and a Totem of Undying, so gather late-game resources first.
2. Pick your first relic based on your immediate need — the Relic Blade for combat, the Worldbreaker Pickaxe for fast resource gathering, or the Godheart as an emergency insurance item.
3. Craft Godhearts in bulk (the recipe yields 4 at a time). Because they are consumed on use, keeping a stack on hand is important before boss fights or dangerous expeditions.
4. Use the Storm Wand's targeted mode for precision fights and save the burst mode for clearing groups of tough mobs.
5. Run /powerrelics in chat at any time for a quick in-game reminder of the mod's core concepts and how to get started.
6. Hold any relic in your hand — the action bar will display a contextual hint for its right-click ability so you never have to alt-tab to check.
