Polar Pulse Orb

Quickstart

1. Craft the Polar Pulse Orb at a Crafting Table using the recipe below.
2. Hold the orb in your hand — it appears as a glowing, enchantment-shimmer red-and-blue pulsing snowball in the Equipment tab.
3. Right-click / use to throw it. Aim at a crowd of mobs or players and release.
4. When the orb lands (hitting a block or an entity), a gravitational pulse activates at that spot — everything within 16 blocks is dragged toward the impact point for 20 seconds.

Overview

Polar Pulse Orb is a throwable crowd-control tool for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.93. A single throw creates a powerful localized gravity well that continuously pulls every nearby mob and player toward the landing point, making it ideal for herding, trapping, or setting up area-denial in multiplayer or adventure maps.

How To Use

1. Equip the orb in your hand.
2. Hold the use button (right-click on PC, tap-hold on mobile/controller) for up to half a second to charge the throw, then release. A longer wind-up means a stronger launch.
3. The orb flies like a snowball. On impact with a block or an entity, the gravity pulse begins immediately.
4. A distinctive pulsing sound plays at the impact site every second while the effect is active — use this as an audio cue.
5. After 20 seconds the pull fades and all affected entities resume normal movement.

Tip: You move slightly slower while winding up a throw. Account for that when positioning yourself in a fight.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Pull radius: 16 blocks from the landing point.
• Pull duration: 20 seconds (400 game ticks) after impact.
• Pull frequency: Force is applied roughly 4 times per second.
• Force scaling: Entities farther from the center receive a stronger pull so they are drawn in consistently; entities very close to the center are barely nudged.
• Vertical pull: Entities above the pulse center are pulled downward; entities below are pulled upward, keeping everything converging on the landing spot.
• What is affected: All mobs and players within range. Snowball projectiles themselves are ignored.
• Multiple orbs: Several orbs can be active simultaneously, each maintaining its own independent 20-second pull.
• Sound cues: A throw sound plays when the orb leaves your hand; a deeper impact sound plays on landing; a repeating pulse sound plays at the gravity well every second while active.

Orbs stack up to 16, so you can carry a good supply without filling your inventory.

Progression And Strategy

• Crowd herding: Throw into the middle of a mob group to cluster them tightly before using area attacks or traps.
• Multiplayer disruption: Landing an orb near enemy players pulls them off their positions and interrupts movement for a full 20 seconds.
• Chaining throws: Because you can carry up to 16 orbs per stack, throwing a second orb to a new location while the first is still active creates overlapping gravity zones.
• Counter-play: The pull can be partially resisted by sprinting away from the center, but the continuous re-application makes escape difficult without significant distance.
• Positioning tip: Aim at the ground rather than directly at a mob — a block-hit registers the pulse just as well and is an easier target to hit.
