Quickstart

1. Craft a Pocket Card Pack using 8 Paper surrounding a Gold Nugget in a crafting table:

1. Hold the pack in your hand and right-click to open it.
2. You instantly receive 3 random Pokémon cards in your inventory, each with a color-coded name showing its rarity.
3. Stack up to 16 packs and open them back-to-back for a full unboxing session!

Overview

Pocket Card Pack adds a single collectible item to Minecraft: a foil-shimmer card pack that tears open on right-click to reveal three random Pokémon cards drawn from a pool of 35 Pokémon. Every card belongs to one of five rarity tiers, making each pack opening a little lottery of its own.

What It Adds

Cards are Paper items with custom color-coded names. They are purely collectible — their value is in the rarity and the thrill of the pull.

How To Use

• Right-click while holding a Pocket Card Pack to open it.
• One pack is consumed per use (packs are not consumed in Creative Mode).
• Three cards are placed directly into your inventory. If your inventory is full, the cards are dropped on the ground.
• A page-turn sound plays on opening.

Pokémon Card Pool

There are 35 possible Pokémon, including fan favorites like Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Eevee, Gengar, Greninja, and many more legendary and mythical Pokémon.

Rarity Tiers

Each card is assigned a rarity at the moment the pack is opened, shown by the color of the card's name:

The rarity label appears in italics alongside the Pokémon's name, e.g. Charizard Card [Legendary].

Glint

Pocket Card Packs have an enchantment glint, making them easy to spot in your inventory.

Progression And Strategy

• Save up packs before opening — stacks of 16 let you run a satisfying opening session all at once.
• Legendary cards are rare (3%), so opening many packs in a row is the best way to hunt for them.
• Cards are stackable Paper items, so you can sort and display your collection in item frames or storage.
• Farm the simple Paper + Gold Nugget recipe to build your pack stockpile quickly — paper is cheap and gold nuggets can be piglins-traded or mined in the Nether.
