Description
Platinum Frontier adds a full high-tier resource and gear set: platinum ore (including deepslate variants), raw platinum, ingots, nuggets, storage blocks, crafting and smelting recipes, plus a complete set of platinum tools and heavy armor with powerful stats. Players progress by mining or looting platinum, smelting and crafting gear, and battling the hostile Platinum Sentinel — a tougher overworld mob with a slowing melee attack and platinum drops that can be hunted for materials or spawned via a spawn egg. For testing and setup the mod includes /platinumfrontier kit and /platinumfrontier summon_sentinel commands, letting you kit up or summon Sentinels to jump straight into the crafting-and-combat loop.

Quickstart
- Open your creative inventory and navigate to the Platinum Frontier tab (platinum ingot icon) to find every item, block, and spawn egg in one place.
- Want everything at once? Run

Overview
Platinum Frontier introduces a complete high-tier material tier above diamond. It adds platinum ore generation in the overworld, a full crafting and smelting chain from raw ore to finished gear, a heavy armor set, a complete tool set, and a tough hostile mob — the Platinum Sentinel — that guards and drops platinum. All content is conveniently grouped in the dedicated Platinum Frontier creative tab.

How To Use
Mining
Mine Platinum Ore or Deepslate Platinum Ore using any diamond-tier pickaxe or better. Both ore types drop Raw Platinum rather than the ore block itself. Smelt the raw ore in a furnace to produce Platinum Ingots.

Smelt Platinum Ore, Deepslate Platinum Ore, or Raw Platinum in a furnace (200 ticks / 10 seconds each, 1.0 XP) to get Platinum Ingots.

Platinum Sentinel
The Platinum Sentinel is a powerful overworld hostile mob with the following stats:

Special Attack — Slowness: Every successful hit applies Slowness I to the target for 4 seconds, making it harder to retreat mid-fight.
Drops:
- 2–4 Platinum Ingots when killed by a player (1 ingot otherwise)
- 25% chance to also drop 1 Raw Platinum
The Sentinel uses a custom platinum-tinted texture but behaves similarly to a zombie base type.
Progression And Strategy
- Early access: Craft a diamond pickaxe first — platinum ore requires diamond-tier tools to mine.
- Ore hunting: Platinum Ore appears in normal stone layers; Deepslate Platinum Ore appears deeper. Both are relatively rare, so mine broadly or branch-mine at multiple depths.
- Smelt and stockpile: Smelt all Raw Platinum before crafting. You'll need a significant number of ingots for a full armor + tool set.
- Gear up: Prioritize the Platinum Pickaxe and Platinum Sword early, then complete the armor set for maximum survivability.
- Farming the Sentinel: Once you have some platinum gear, hunting Platinum Sentinels is an efficient way to farm extra ingots. Use a ranged approach or keep moving to counteract their Slowness debuff. Their knockback resistance means melee requires commitment — don't let them corner you.
- Storage: Compress excess ingots into Blocks of Platinum to save inventory space; they convert back losslessly.
