Description
Make a new dimension craftable putting 8 paper blocks together, and using a pencil to activate it, these are new items, pencil is an item, paper is graph paper looking blocks. Make it so once you enter it, the pencil breaks, and you have to craft a new one. Make 2 challenges to get the materials. Paper is obtainable by putting 3 notes together vertically, and a pencil is made by 2 cobblestone and 3 wood. Make paper also make able with 4 sugar canes. Pencilbound Paper Realm
Quickstart
- Gather 32 Paper and craft 8 Graph Paper Blocks. You can make Paper from four Sugar Cane with , or use Paper you already have.
- Craft a Realm Sketch Page from the eight blocks. The center of its recipe is left empty:
- Craft a Paper-Realm Pencil from 3 Oak Planks and 2 Cobblestone: . Make a spare if you want an easy way back.
- Keep the Page in your inventory and use the Pencil to open the travel menu; choose Enter Pencilbound Paper Realm. Alternatively, use the Pencil on a complete 4-wide, 5-tall obsidian frame to activate it and enter. The Pencil is consumed when you arrive; the Page is not.
- Start with the realm’s challenges: mine Graph Paper Blocks and defeat Graph Creepers. Your progress appears in the action bar.
To return using the travel menu, use another Pencil while inside and choose Return home. You can also use a Pencil on a complete obsidian frame in the realm to leave.
Overview
Pencilbound Paper Realm is a sketchbook-like dimension of rolling Graph Paper terrain and white-wool cloudbanks. It has its own creatures, a reusable travel key with a one-use entry cost, and two challenges that reward materials.

How To Use
- Travel menu: Use a Pencil while carrying a Realm Sketch Page to open the travel menu. Inside the realm, a Pencil opens the menu’s return option.
- Obsidian frame: Use a Pencil on a complete obsidian frame to activate it. The frame must be 4 blocks wide and 5 tall, with a 2-by-3 opening.
- Graph Creepers: Keep your distance when they approach; they explode like creepers. A player kill in the realm also earns a Graph Note.
- Wet Paper: Use it to throw a projectile that damages and knocks back its target.
- Eraser: Use an Eraser Summoning Sketch to summon the Eraser nearby. Defeating it yields 2–4 Erasers.
Crafting And Obtaining
- Graph Paper Block: Four Paper in a 2-by-2 recipe makes one block:
- Paper from Graph Notes: Arrange three Graph Notes vertically to make one Paper:

Abilities And Mechanics
Two challenges track progress while you are in the realm:
- Graph Creepers: Kill 3 Graph Creepers to receive 2 Cobblestone and 3 Oak Planks.
- Paper Trail: Mine 16 Graph Paper Blocks to receive 16 Paper.
Each challenge reward is granted once per player. A Graph Creeper killed by a player in the realm also provides one Graph Note, whether or not the challenge is complete.
Progression And Strategy
Use Sugar Cane or existing Paper to make the Graph Paper Blocks and Page needed for your first trip. Carry a spare Pencil if you want to return through the travel menu after the entry Pencil breaks. Once inside, mining blocks and defeating Graph Creepers advances both challenges and supplies Paper, Notes, Cobblestone, and Oak Planks for further crafting.
