Paradise Realm

Quickstart

Craft a Cloud Compass at a crafting table, then use it to open the travel menu and choose Enter Paradise Realm. In Creative, you can also look for the Cloud Compass in the item inventory. Use the compass again in the realm and choose Return home to go back to the Overworld spawn.

Explore the nearby terrain, then look for Aether Crystal Ore in the high slopes of Halo Peaks or Sunspire Dunes. Its drops help with the realm’s beacon survey and with crafting a Starlight Lantern.

Overview

Paradise Realm is a separate sky dimension made up of six regions, from grassy meadows and flowered groves to rugged peaks, dunes, and the Azure Cloudsea. Cloudwood trees, Starbloom, custom stone and sand, crystal ore, and distinctive wildlife make up its landscape.

What It Adds

The realm is home to Cloud Sprites, Halo Hares, Starfoxes, Sky Ibexes, Sunfeathers, Honey Wisps, Starlight Frogs, and Cloudshell Tortoises. Aurora Sentinels are hostile: they attack from range with small fireballs and switch to melee when close.

How To Use

• Travel: Use the Cloud Compass and select Enter Paradise Realm or Return home.
• Map the realm: Visiting regions records them on your survey progress display.
• Attune beacons: In each of the five beacon regions—Paradise Meadows, Celestial Gardens, Halo Peaks, Moonlit Grove, and Sunspire Dunes—hold an Aether Shard and interact with that region’s beacon. Each attunement consumes one shard.
• Cloud Sprites: Interact with one to give it an item or take back the item it carries. Sprites can pick up dropped items and bring them to their owner or to a nearby note block.

Crafting And Obtaining

• Aether Shards: Mine Aether Crystal Ore; the ore drops 1–3 shards.
• Starlight Lantern: Craft one with Aether Shards, gold nuggets, and glowstone dust.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Halo Hares can be bred with carrots, golden carrots, or dandelions.
• Cloudshell Tortoises can be tempted and bred with seagrass; they lay eggs.
• Cloud Sprites can carry matching items they pick up and deliver items to an owner or note block.
• Aurora Sentinels are dangerous at both long and short range.

Progression And Strategy

Visit all six regions and attune the five regional beacons. Completing both parts of the survey rewards you with 8 Aether Shards. Since each beacon consumes a shard, gather ore before setting out to attune them. Take care around Halo Peaks, where Aurora Sentinels roam.
