Description:

The Ornate Reliquary Of Fortune is a proximity-activated loot block for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It looks like an ancient, expensive artifact — deep blue diamond-and-lapis construction with bright white quartz edging, engraved decorative corners, polished gem inlays, and a subtle magical shimmer. It occupies a single standard block space and is completely solid and stationary at all times.
The block generates rarely underground as a natural ore-like spawn, but only becomes functional after a player mines it and manually re-places it. Once placed by a player, it silently watches for nearby players and rewards them with a stream of valuable loot — no fuel, no redstone, no menus, no interaction required beyond walking near it.
Reliquaries spawn rarely underground across the Overworld like a valuable ore. They are completely inactive in this state and will never produce loot on their own. Mine one with any pickaxe (wood tier or better, takes about 3 seconds), pick it up, and carry it to where you want to use it.
See Crafting And Obtaining below.
Place the block like any normal block. It immediately becomes functional as a player-placed reliquary. Simply walk within 64 blocks — it activates automatically when your proximity is detected and the cooldown is not active. No right-clicking, sneaking, or items needed.
After the event ends, the block becomes dormant for one full Minecraft day. It will not activate again during this time even if players are nearby. When the cooldown expires the faint gleam returns and the next activation is ready.
Craft at a crafting table:

The recipe yields one Ornate Reliquary Of Fortune. You can also find them generated naturally underground and mine them with any pickaxe.
Each of the 10 items per event is drawn from a weighted random loot table. Lower-tier items are much more common; the best rewards are rare even across many activations.
| Rarity | Items |
|---|---|
| Common | Diamond, Emerald, Blaze Rod, Eye of Ender |
| Uncommon | Diamond Block, Emerald Block, Ancient Debris, Netherite Scrap, Heart of the Sea |
| Rare | Netherite Ingot, Mob Skulls, Silence Armor Trim |
| Very Rare | Enchanted Golden Apple, Elytra |
Place any chest or trapped chest directly beside the reliquary (horizontally adjacent — north, east, south, or west). During a loot event, generated items are inserted into that chest like a hopper. If the chest is full, or no chest is present, items eject upward as normal. Items are never destroyed.
| State | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Naturally generated | Completely inert — no loot, no activation, no particles |
| Player-placed | Fully functional — activates on proximity, produces loot, tracks cooldown |
Mining a natural reliquary and placing it converts it to the player-placed functional state.
| State | Appearance |
|---|---|
| Ready (idle) | Faint magical gleam |
| Active (dispensing loot) | Brighter glow, enchanted particles |
| Cooldown (exhausted) | Dimmed, dormant |

The Aegis Beacon is a placeable, permanent utility block resembling an ornate obsidian-and-gold lantern with a glowing cyan soul-flame and star-of-purity highlight; when placed it creates a 64-block radius sanctuary that instantly despawns or teleports hostile mobs that spawn in or enter the area, emits light level 15, and plays a constant, low-volume beacon hum while active. It has infinite durability, can be picked up, displays a Legendary gold name when active, no longer shows the white sparkle particle effect around players inside the protected radius, and now features an updated, refreshed block texture while all other behaviors remain unchanged.

Security Automator: Place a Redstone Block. Stand on the Redstone block and use the wand on it. The Redstone block is now your personal monster sensor activating when they are within 16 blocks of it. When they are not in it's area of influence it becomes an obsidian block. Great for automatic lights and security doors!

Survival Kit is a placeable block that instantly generates a small enclosed starter shelter with a furnace, a crafting table, and a chest. The chest provides the materials to craft a bed, a door, other useful supplies; 3 white wool, a total of 9 oak planks, 64 torches, 64 baked potatoes for food, a coal block for the furnace, and 3 iron axes and pickaxes each to help players take refuge, get established quickly, and start surviving right away.
