Operator Nexus Block
Quickstart
- Get the block — Find the Operator Nexus Block in your Creative inventory (it has an enchantment glint). Only one can exist in the world at a time.
- Place it — Requires a diamond-tier pickaxe to break; only Creative players can destroy it instantly.
- Open the interface — Right-click the block to open the multi-tab Nexus Dashboard. You must be a server operator (permission level 2) to use it.
- Try Phase Shift first — From the Dashboard, click the Phase Shift button to activate it. It no longer triggers automatically on open.
- Try a Rift Tear — Shift + Right-click the block to unleash a short Rift Tear effect immediately, no menu needed.
- Store an Anchor — Hold a Nexus Anchor item and right-click the block to store that location as a teleport anchor.
Overview
The Operator Nexus Block is a powerful single-block operator console for Minecraft servers. It centralises game management into one compact, multi-tab GUI — covering everything from environmental controls and player management to item generation and spatial teleportation. Only one Nexus Block may exist in the world at a time, and only server operators can interact with it.
The block emits a soft ambient hum and glows with an amber aesthetic. Version 17 overhauled the interface with a streamlined Dashboard as the home screen, making the most-used features immediately accessible.
What It Adds
| Item | Description |
|---|
| Operator Nexus Block | The placeable control block; opens the Nexus GUI on right-click |
| Nexus Anchor | A special item used to register teleport anchor points at the Nexus |
How To Use
Opening the Interface
Right-click the Operator Nexus Block while you are a server operator. A full-screen, multi-tab GUI opens, starting on the Dashboard. There is a brief cooldown between opens to prevent accidental double-triggering.
Non-operators hear a bass note and receive a warning message — they cannot access the interface.
Shift + Right-Click (Rift Tear)
Sneaking and right-clicking the block immediately triggers a Rift Tear — a short dimensional distortion effect — without opening the menu. A sound cue and chat message confirm the activation.
Storing Anchors
Hold a Nexus Anchor item in your main hand and right-click the block. The anchor's current location is saved into one of up to five anchor slots. A confirmation message appears above your hotbar.

- Inventory Viewer — Inspect player inventories.

Energy & Logbook
The Nexus has a regenerating energy meter that powers certain actions. The Logbook records operator actions with per-player cooldowns to prevent spam.
Self-Destruct
A dedicated Self Destruct tab allows operators to deliberately destroy the Nexus Block — use with care.
Progression And Strategy
- Place the Nexus early in a creative or operator session — it serves as your world-management hub for the entire session.
- Use Nexus Anchors to bookmark key locations (spawn, build sites, farms) so you can teleport back instantly from the Spatial tab.
- The energy meter regenerates over time, so high-cost actions like Phase Shift or Random Events may need a short wait between uses; monitor the meter on the Dashboard.
- The Logbook cooldown system prevents rapid repeat triggering of powerful effects — plan actions accordingly if you need to use several in quick succession.
- Because only one Nexus Block can exist at a time, treat it as a precious fixed installation. Use the lock feature on critical anchors so they aren't accidentally overwritten.
