Just a normal One Block world
Quickstart
Join the world to be taken to a small fenced island in the Overworld. Open the chest beside the center block and take its starter supplies: oak logs, a sapling, bread, a wooden pickaxe and sword, dirt, and torches.
Mine the One Block at the island’s center. It regenerates after each break and gives a random reward; keep mining to advance through its phases. Use the drops to expand and light your island, and be ready for occasional creatures.
You can also craft a One Block with four dirt and one grass block:
Place a crafted One Block and mine it to start its own progression.
Overview
The One Block is a regenerating block that produces resources and occasional encounters as you mine it. Progress is tracked separately for each One Block position. Every 25 breaks at a position completes a phase; after the seventh phase, the End phase continues endlessly.
The island and its spawn point are set up for you when you join. If you fall below Y = -16, you are returned to the island.
What It Adds
- A regenerating One Block with eight resource phases.
- A small fenced starter island and a chest of supplies.
- Random bonus supply chests and phase-themed creature encounters.
How To Use
Break the One Block to collect its drop. Each break gives one randomly selected reward from the current phase’s pool, usually in a quantity of one or two.
Watch the on-screen progress message for the phase name and your break count out of 25. When a phase is complete, the next one begins. Keep space on the island for bonus chests and creatures that may appear as you mine.
Crafting And Obtaining
The starter island’s One Block is ready to mine when you first join. To make another, use four dirt around one grass block in a crafting table; the recipe is shown above.
Abilities And Mechanics
A bonus supply chest may appear on the island while mining. It can contain food, seeds, wood, basic tools, iron or gold ingots, diamonds, emeralds, arrows, armor, or a bow.
Mining can also bring a creature from the current phase to the island:

Progression And Strategy
Build outward from the fenced island as you collect dirt and other blocks, and use torches to keep your space lit. Store useful phase rewards and chest loot so you can make use of materials as they arrive. After 25 breaks in each of the first seven phases, the One Block reaches the End phase; its rewards and encounters continue without another phase transition.
