/locate biome com_obsidian_last_dawn_sj53e7n6:carcer_cityObsidian Last Dawn transforms the overworld into a post-apocalyptic survival experience. Two custom biomes reshape the landscape, every hostile mob is replaced by evolving zombie mutants, and a scripted escalation system drives the world toward an ever-more-dangerous state as days pass. Bosses arrive on a schedule, nightly hordes grow larger, and obsidian is your only guaranteed shelter material.

Hold the Apocalypse Rifle or Military Rifle in your hand. Aim at a target and press Use (right-click on Java-style controls, tap the Use button on touch). The rifle fires a hitscan shot at the entity in your crosshair up to its maximum range. There is a short cooldown between shots (longer for the Apocalypse Rifle, shorter for the Military Rifle). Both rifles have durability and will eventually break.
Hold a Medkit and press Use to consume it. One Medkit is removed from your stack and you immediately receive Regeneration and Absorption effects. Keep several in your hotbar during boss fights and frenzy nights.
Used as both a melee weapon and a mining tool. It deals strong melee damage and can destroy obsidian-tier blocks efficiently — useful for reshaping your own obsidian fortress or breaking into protected areas.
Use the /locate biome commands listed above to find the custom biomes. Carcer City safe-house ruins are your primary source of early military loot before you can craft better gear.

Loot drops:
Each Minecraft day, the world's evolution level increases by 12%, capping at 100% (APEX) on day 8+. This drives the Blood Moon tier (1–9), calculated from the current evolution percentage. All values are displayed live on your action bar:

Every night (in-game time ~13,000–23,000), Night Frenzy becomes ACTIVE. While active:
All vanilla hostile mobs (zombie, husk, drowned, skeleton, creeper, spider) are replaced by Evolved Zombies on spawn. Each receives a deterministic V-#### nametag based on its position and the current day. They can break doors, climb, and occasionally stack as jockeys. They drop standard loot.
Bosses spawn near players on a timer:

Days 1–2 — Establish a base. Your first priority is obsidian. Mine it immediately or raid Carcer City ruins for early materials. Craft an Apocalypse Rifle once you have iron ingots; it gives you ranged capability against the first Zombie King Kong that appears.
Days 2–7 — Escalating threat. Evolution climbs 12% per day. Nightly frenzies grow larger. Upgrade to the Military Rifle as soon as you can gather diamonds and an existing Apocalypse Rifle — its longer range and higher damage matter when managing large hordes.
Day 8+ (APEX). Evolution is maxed and Blood Moon is at tier 9. Frenzies can push near 100 mutants around you each night. Ensure your base is fully obsidian-walled before this point. Stock Medkits for the Zombie Wither on day 20.
