Description
Transform the Obsidian Blood Crown into Blood Serpent armor after a 50-kill streak
Mod Wiki
Obsidian Blood Crown
Quickstart
- Craft the Obsidian Blood Crown Helmet using the recipe below.
- Equip it in your helmet slot — the demonic powers activate immediately.
- Go fight! Build up a 50-kill streak without dying or resetting your streak.
- Once you hit 50 kills, hold the crown in your main hand while also carrying a Blood Lock Blade somewhere in your inventory.
- Use the crown (right-click/trigger interact) to transform it into the full Blood Serpent armor set — helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots — equipped automatically.
Overview
The Obsidian Blood Crown is a cursed, demonic relic forged from obsidian and a wither rose. While worn, it grants its wearer powerful combat buffs at the cost of being a heavy commitment item. Prove yourself in battle by racking up an unbroken 50-kill streak, and the crown will reward you by unlocking the Blood Serpent — a complete set of demonic armor infused with the same dark power, but permanently active across all four armor slots instead of just the head.
What It Adds
| Item | Slot | Protection | Durability | Notes |
|---|
| Obsidian Blood Crown Helmet | Head | 5 | 450 | The starting relic; grants demonic buffs while worn |
| Blood Serpent Crown Helm | Head | 6 | 650 | Unlocked reward helmet |
| Blood Serpent Chestplate | Chest | 9 | 720 | Unlocked reward armor |
| Blood Serpent Leggings | Legs | 7 | 680 | Unlocked reward armor |
| Blood Serpent Boots | Feet | 4 | 600 | Unlocked reward armor |
All pieces are Epic rarity and carry an enchanted glint, marking them as special, powerful gear.
How To Use
- Wearing the Crown: Simply equip the Obsidian Blood Crown Helmet like any other helmet. As long as it stays on your head, you'll passively receive strong combat effects: Resistance, Regeneration, Fire Resistance, Night Vision, and Absorption.
- Tracking Your Streak: Every kill counts toward your streak. Reach 50 kills to qualify for transformation. If you're not there yet, using the crown will remind you how many kills are needed.
- Requirement — Blood Lock Blade: You must have a Blood Lock Blade somewhere in your inventory to perform the transformation. Without it, the crown will refuse to transform even at max streak.
- Transforming: With the streak requirement met and the Blood Lock Blade in your inventory, hold the crown in your main hand and use it. The crown will vanish from your hand and be replaced by the full Blood Serpent armor set, equipped directly onto your character.
- After Transformation: Wearing any piece of the Blood Serpent set keeps the demonic buffs active — you no longer need the crown itself. Removing the armor ends the buffs.
- Repairing the Crown: Before it's transformed, the crown's helmet can be repaired using Obsidian (restores a portion of durability) or Netherite Scrap (restores more durability).
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Obsidian Blood Crown Helmet at a crafting table using obsidian, bedrock, and a wither rose:
The Blood Serpent armor pieces cannot be crafted directly — they are only obtained by transforming the crown after meeting the kill-streak and Blood Lock Blade requirements.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Demonic Buffs: Both the crown and the full Blood Serpent set grant a strong buff package while equipped: high-tier Resistance, Regeneration, Fire Resistance, Night Vision, and Absorption.
- Kill Streak System: Your kill streak tracks consecutive kills. This streak must reach 50 before the crown will allow transformation.
- Transformation Requirements: Two conditions must both be true — a 50-kill streak and a Blood Lock Blade present in your inventory. Missing either will block the transformation and display a warning message.
- One-Time Unlock: Once unlocked, the Blood Serpent set is tied to your character; the crown itself is consumed and replaced entirely by the armor set upon transformation.
Progression And Strategy
- Start by equipping the crown early to benefit from its strong buffs while you build your kill streak.
- Focus on maintaining an unbroken streak of 50 kills — plan your fights carefully, since losing your streak means starting the count over.
- Secure a Blood Lock Blade ahead of time so you're ready to transform the instant your streak hits 50.
- After transforming, enjoy full-body demonic protection and buffs across all armor slots, making the Blood Serpent set a strong long-term combat outfit.
