Obsidian Amethyst Realm
Quickstart
- Craft a Realm Sigil at a crafting table, then use it to open the travel menu.
- Choose Enter Obsidian Amethyst Realm. You’ll arrive in the realm, where the Corrupted Golem and other hostile creatures await.
- Use the sigil again inside the realm and choose Return home when you’re ready to leave.

Overview
The Obsidian Amethyst Realm is a hostile dimension of rolling obsidian terrain, with amethyst beneath the surface, amethyst-covered high ground, and crying obsidian along steep slopes and shores. The Amethyst Wastes are home to Obsidian Amethyst Creepers, Abandoned Mining Constructs, and the Corrupted Golem.
What It Adds

How To Use
- Travel: Use the Realm Sigil and select the first menu option to travel. Inside the realm, use it again and select Return home. Choose Cancel to close the menu without travelling.
- Fight the creeper: Keep your distance as it approaches and begins to swell. With flint and steel in hand, interact with it to ignite its fuse yourself.
- Creative Mode: Search the creative inventory for the Corrupted Golem, Obsidian Amethyst Creeper, or Abandoned Mining Construct spawn eggs to place them.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Corrupted Golem drops a Corrupted Core and 3–8 amethyst shards. Combine the core with obsidian and an amethyst shard to make another Realm Sigil:
Abandoned Mining Constructs can drop amethyst shards or iron nuggets. Obsidian Amethyst Creepers drop gunpowder; a creeper killed by a skeleton, stray, or bogged can also drop a music disc.
Abilities And Mechanics
The Corrupted Golem has 420 health and deals 18–24 damage with its attacks. Abandoned Mining Constructs have 70 health and deal 12 damage. Both are hostile, so keep your distance and be prepared for close combat.
Obsidian Amethyst Creepers explode when they get close. Lightning charges them, making their explosion more powerful.
Progression And Strategy
Bring strong armor, healing, and a weapon you can use at range before entering. Watch for creepers while exploring, and avoid being cornered by the Construct. Defeating the Corrupted Golem rewards a Corrupted Core; use it with obsidian and an amethyst shard to craft a replacement Realm Sigil.
