Nightfang Werewolf

Quickstart

• In Creative: Search the Spawn Eggs tab for the Nightfang Werewolf egg, then use it on the ground to spawn one.
• With commands enabled: Run /summon nightfang-werewolf-lp4vwkbm:nightfang_werewolf_lp4vwkbm ~ ~ ~.
• For a natural encounter: Explore the Overworld after sundown. The werewolf spawns on the ground when it is dark outside.
• Keep your distance: it is hostile to players, and it cannot be tamed or told to sit.

Overview

The Nightfang Werewolf is a hostile, wolf-like monster that prowls the Overworld after sundown. It may appear alone or in groups of up to two.

What It Adds

• The Nightfang Werewolf mob
• A matching spawn egg, available in Creative mode

How To Use

Use the spawn egg on a suitable patch of ground, or summon the mob with the command above. There is no crafting recipe for the egg.

Natural spawns can occur in Overworld biomes when it is dark outside. The werewolf targets players and remains feral: interacting with it does not enable wolf taming or sitting.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Health: 28 points (14 hearts)
• Attack damage: 6 points (3 hearts against an unarmored player)
• Movement speed: 0.32
• Follow range: 32 blocks

Progression And Strategy

Prepare for a fight before exploring after dark. Its 14 hearts make it tougher than an ordinary wolf, and a hit can deal 3 hearts of damage to an unarmored player.
