Netherite Companions

Quickstart

1. Explore the world — a Netherite Companion will automatically appear near you once per Minecraft day, guarding the area around you.
2. Walk up to her and interact (right-click / tap) to open her trade and conversation menu.
3. Bring emeralds! She trades emeralds for diamonds, a special sword, and enchanted armor pieces.
4. Visit her again at night for extra dialogue options and a special moonlit date activity.
5. If she falls in combat, don't worry — a new companion arrives to replace her within a day.

You can also get a Netherite Companion Spawn Egg from the creative inventory if you want to place one yourself.

Overview

Netherite Companions adds a friendly, armored NPC ally who watches over you as you play. She defends you from nearby monsters, offers a small set of visible (no-gamble) emerald trades, and has unique dialogue that changes between day and night — including a special nighttime "moonlit date" activity. She's a companion with personality, not just a shopkeeper.

What It Adds

• Netherite Companion — a persistent, friendly humanoid NPC that appears in your world and fights alongside you.
• Netherite Companion Spawn Egg — for manually spawning a companion.
• Iron Netherite Sword — a purchasable weapon.
• Enchanted Companion Top, Bottoms, and Shoes — a purchasable armor set with strong protection and full enchantability.

How To Use

Meeting Your Companion

A Netherite Companion automatically spawns near you roughly once per in-game day if none is nearby. She has high health and will actively fight off nearby monsters to protect you. You can also summon one directly using her spawn egg.

Talking And Trading

Interact with the companion to open her menu. Her greeting and available banter change depending on whether it's day or night in your world:

• Daytime: She offers friendly banter and mentions that flirtier dialogue and the moonlit date are reserved for nighttime.
• Nighttime: She becomes playful, offering flirty banter, a teasing remark, and the ability to start a moonlit date.

Her visible trade offers (always shown in the menu, day or night):

Simply select a trade button and, if you have enough emeralds, the item is given to you immediately and the emeralds are taken from your inventory. If you don't have enough emeralds, the trade is canceled and you keep your emeralds.

Moonlit Date

At night, choose the "Moonlit date" option to share a quiet walk with your companion. This can only be done once per in-game night — trying again later that same night will let her remind you that you've already shared your walk. During a moonlit date, her name changes temporarily to reflect the occasion.

Crafting And Obtaining

The companion's gear cannot be crafted at a workbench — it is only obtained by trading emeralds with her directly, as described above. No crafting recipes are available for this content; all items are acquired through in-game trading or from the creative inventory (spawn egg only).

Abilities And Mechanics

• Guardian behavior: The companion actively targets and attacks nearby monsters to protect you, and fights back if attacked.
• Fire immune: She's immune to fire and lava damage.
• High durability: She has significantly more health than a typical villager or player, letting her hold her own in combat.
• Persistent: She won't despawn on her own and will stick around to keep guarding you.
• Day/night dialogue: Her greeting, banter, and available options change based on the current time of day.
• Equipment: She spawns already equipped with the Iron Netherite Sword and the full Enchanted Companion armor set.

Progression And Strategy

Keep emeralds on hand while adventuring — trading with your companion is the main way to acquire the Iron Netherite Sword and the Enchanted Companion armor set, both of which offer solid combat protection and full enchantment support (they can be enchanted and repaired with netherite ingots like top-tier gear). Visiting her at night unlocks extra roleplay content, including flirtatious dialogue and the once-per-night moonlit date, giving you a reason to check in on her after dark in addition to trading during the day.
